In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Slime Rancher 2, the sequel to Monomi Park's sci-fi life simulation game Slime Rancher, the essential multipurpose tool known as the Vacpack returns and can be upgraded to perform additional functions once the correct materials have been gathered.
While some of these upgrades are more essential than others, they all have some amount of usefulness for Beatrix's second slime ranching experience. Because Slime Rancher 2 is currently in early access for an indefinite period, there could be more upgrades added in the future as well since there are seemingly some upgrades from the first game that aren't yet present.
10 𝐆 Heart Modules
Heart Modules give Beatrix more health, but they aren't as necessary in Slime Rancher 2 as they are in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:other games, depending on how you play. In Slime Rancher 2, the only things that cause damage to Beatrix are sharp rocks and crystals, lava, fire, the slimes related to those materials, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Feral Slimes, and the Tarr.
The nature-related dangers don't do much damage unless Beatrix is in or near them for a long time, and the appearance of Tarr, as well as the aggression of Feral Slimes, can be turned off in the settings, so Heart Modules feel even less necessary when playing this way.
9 𓂃Power Core ♏
The Power Core is a micro-generator that increases how much energy Beatrix has, allowing her to run or use the Dash Boots and Jetpack for an extended period of time. Walking can be slow, and running is almost always the better option, but Beatrix can't run for very long before obtaining and upgrading the Power Core.
The Power Core can be upgraded a couple of times and gets smaller as it's upgraded, but since it doesn't seem to affect Beatrix's speed at all, the Power Core's size is more of a lore fun fact rather than a gameplay mechanic.
8 Dasꦆh Boots 😼
Dash Boots allow Beatrix to consume less energy when she runs, letting her run for an extended amount of time, but that's all they do. The Dash Boots are a better alternative than walking everywhere, which Beatrix has to do when she starts her adventure since she won't be able to run for very long before her energy has been depleted.
They aren't quite as useful as the Jetpack, but they don't require as many resources, so they're also easier to make. The Dash Boots can also be upgraded several times, meaning Beatrix can run for a while without losing much energy.
7 🤪 Pulse Wave
At first glance, the Pulse Wave can seem unnecessary, but it's a more helpful upgrade than you might expect. The Pulse Wave upgrade allows the Vacpack to send out a Pulse Wave that pushes away all nearby slimes.
This is a helpful feature when gathering resources near rock slimes, crystal slimes, boom slimes, or any related Largos since they'll damage Beatrix when they get too close. The Pulse Wave can also help push Tarr away if Beatrix is out of water, isn't close to a water source, or doesn't yet have the Water Tank upgrade if the you decided to get other upgrades first.
6 Jetpack
The Jetpack allows Beatrix to fly around as long as she has energy and will enable her to reach areas she wouldn't be able to otherwise. The Jetpack depletes energy relatively fast, however, so it's best to plan ahead before trying to use it to fly over long distances.
Luckily, Slime Rancher 2 has no fall damage, so miscalculating the distance between two points is a minor inconvenience rather than something fatal. The Jetpack can also be upgraded to consume energy slower, allowing Beatrix to fly for longer distances. However, even with all these upgrades, she can't stay in the air indefinitely.
5 Water Tank 🙈
Because water is plentiful due to the Slime Sea that surrounds the Far, Far Range and the ponds and waterfalls seen in various locations around it, water is never a difficult resource to come across. The Water Tank is a helpful tool for containing Tarr outbreaks, but if you're playing the game with Tarr appearances turned off, it can seem unnecessary.
The Water Tank can also be used to water crops faster, allowing Beatrix to obtain and then feed fr🌟uits and veggies from said crops to the slimes on her ranch that eat them, resulting in increased production of plorts.
4 Tank 💃Boosters
Tank Boosters provide more space in e🌜ach tank of the Vacpack, which are essential for collecting a larger number of resources at once. While only up to six different things can be collected, the standard Vacpack can only contain 20 of each, but each upgrade increases the amoun🅘t by ten, with the final upgrade allowing Beatrix to fill up the Vacpack with 50 of any resource or slime in each tank.
Typically, that much of a resource isn't required for anything, but these boosters are a godsend when collecting plorts from slime corrals since they make it less likely you'll drop any when taking them from the Plort Collector.
3 🍌 Extr🅠a Tank
The Vacpack starts out with only four tanks, but a few extra tanks can be added after Beatrix has explored a bit and has access to the resources needed to make them. Extra Tanks allow Beatrix to collect more different types of resources at once, so they're most useful when you're planning to do multiple things once you've returned to the conservatory, such as crafting multiple upgrades.
It's challenging to say anything else about Extra Tanks; they just provide additional storage and do it well, a necessary and greatly appreciated feature in any game that revolv⛄es around collecting various things.
2 🌠 ไ Tank Guard
Theꦡ Tank Guard allows Beatrix to keep some of what she has gathered out in the field in case she is knocked out by the Tarr or Feral Slimes or accidentally plunges into the water.
Without the Tank Guard, Beatrix will lose everything she has gathered while out in the field, losing her progress and mak🔜ing it feel like all her hard work was for nothing. The Tank Guard only allows Beatrix to keep from 20 to 60 percent of her resource💝s, so some will still be lost, but it is still a better alternative to losing all gathered resources.
1 🦄 Resource Harvester ꦜ
The Resource Harvester is the most essential upgrade since it allows Beatrix to collect minerals needed to craft other upgrades and a number of other things. Unlike the Vacpack's other upgrades, it doesn't have any upgrades of its own to make its functionality better, at least at the moment, but it doesn't need to.
The Resource Harvester should be the first upgrade Beatrix obtains, and players should make sure to get it as soon a🌃s possible, as it helps make everything else much more manageable. It also happens to be the cheapest upgrade, only requiring ten Cotton Plorts and 450 Newbucks.
