Falkreath is not famous for its untamed wilderness, temperate climate, or bountiful game. It is most famous for having the largest graveyard in Skyrim, which is a good indicati🙈on of what to expect from the city. It is overshadowed by Markarth to the northwest and Whiterunꦦ to the northeast, without the same prestige that the two cities have.
The city is one of the province's smallest, with little to its name beyond a small group of merchants and its grim history. While it may be tempting to ignore, the city has a few opportunities that you could take advantage of.
Falkreath Quests
The city is not involved in the main story, though Helgen is technically part of the Hold if you are being pedantic. You will most likely visit during the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Brotherhood questline because of their Sanctuary's proximity to the city.
You can find two side quests in the city. Both of them are Daedric quests that offer powerful artifacts for completing them.
The local blacksmith asks you to help him capture a dog, unaware that the dog in question is fully capable of talking and in need of help. |

You help a prisoner appease a Daedric Lord only to get caught up in a hunt in the process. |
How To Become Thane Of Falkreath
Unlike other Holds that require you to provide a service to the people, you earn the right to become a Thane by helping the Jarl with a personal favor. You can start by approaching him at his throne and offering your services. He will ask you to retrieve a drink for him and subsequently require you to kill a group of bandits. With both done, you must help three people in the city.
Alternatively, if you have the Hearthfire expansion, he will send a courier with a letter asking for your help. In this situation, you will only have to kill a group of bandits before h♔e offers you the chance of earning the title.
Of course, if you help the Stormcloaks take over the Hold, the new Jarl will automatically offer you the chance after you complete the quest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rescue from Fort Neugrad.
As Thane, you will be awarded the Blade of Falkreath and will be assigned Rayya as your Housecarl if you have Hearthfire installed.
How To Buy A House In Falkreath
Falkreath does not have any empty homes waiting for a new owner. You will instead be offered a plot of land where you can build a homestead. The plot costs 5,000 gold and is located east of Falkreath.
You will have to own the Hearthfire expansion to build a homestead.
Like the other homesteads, Lakeview Manor must be built by hand, using materials gathered from across Skyrim. It has several relevant deposits close to the plot.
