They are one of the many collectibles in the game and they help you upgrade your wing power (how long and how high you can fly). The fir♈st realm you venture to in the game, Isle Of Dawn, has five Winged Lights for you to find.
However, you can only collect a certain amount right away. Other Winged Lights can🎃 become available during certain events that appear, and this guide is focusing on the ones that are a part of the main game.
Updated on August 27, 2021 by Marie Pritchard: After playing the game for a while, you learn that not everything is as simple as it appears and you will indeed need to head to other realms then double back to get everything on offer. Only one of the Winged Lights in Isle Of Dawn requires you to do this back and forth dance, but it's worth it to gain a powerful cape.
Winged Light One Location
Important: You will have to come back to this winged light after completing your adventure as you need the ability to fly to get up the jumps. If you try it on your first time in the realm, the winds will knock you back down!
The first Winged Light location in Isle Of Dawn is easy to miss as it’s right at the very start of the realm. Before you head up to the steps into the cave, you need to take a detour to your left.
Look at the mountain, and there will be obvious some indentations that you can use to climb up onto the top of the mountain.
When you get up there, you should b𝓡e able to see a glowing ꩲfigure waiting for you.
Winged Light Two Location
As you come out of the cave from meeting the spirits for the first time, there will be an ethereal-looking figure standing in the middle of a vast plane.
Head over to them. They will grant you your cape, and you will now have the ability to levita🔯te and fly for a short time. You will encounter a few of the Winged Lights whilst you are goin𝄹g after the Spirits in Isle Of Dawn.
Winged Light Three Location
This is one that you need to go back on yourself for. You will need to have found and set one spirit free in Isle Of Dawn to be able to reach this bit.
Head back to where you met Winged Light Two (the one that gave you your wings) and where you jumped up onto the higher area. Turn around to face the right way.
Head diagonally to your right and keep running in that direction until you see a cave entrance.
This is where the Winged Light will be!
Winged Light Four Location
The next Winged Light location in Isle Of Dawn needs you to go back to the locked spirit gate. If you are revisiting this area after completing it then you have probably already collected this one. If you haven't, then you need to have saved one spirit to unlock the gate.
Follow ⛄the path to the top of the area and the Winged Light will be waiting for you before you jump.
Winged Light Five Location
The next Winged Light location is on the other side of the flight section. This one is the most difficult to get in the Isle Of Dawn.
Head over to the temple but do not go into it yet!
Head to the right side of this area and keep looking at the clouds. You need to head for the area that looks like a gap in the clouds. No, it’s not a design glitch, it’s a very cleverly concealed🔯 area.
Take a leap of faith here and fly through the tunnel. Don't worry about losing your charge to fly, the clouds will replenish your abilities when you touch them.
When you reach the other side you will find an area with a large rock door.
Now, here is where the conundrum lies, you need another player to be able to open the door. (Keep reading if you ar🐎e pla🧸ying alone, there is a way around this).
If there are two of you, you both need to light the torches on the door at the same time to 🐷complete the puzzle. When you do, the doorꦕ will open.
But what is a game without a little teeny tiny bit of cheating and ingenuity? Having no one else to help you is no problem!
Now, this may seem unorthodox but head to the right of the doors and jump off into the clouds. Try to stay in the clouds by pressing and holding B to boost your jump. The clouds should replenish your boost enough for you to get up to a hidden ledge quite far above the door.
When you see it from above, you will see a hole.
Jump down this and ta-da! You’re insideꦿ without needing other people.
Once inside, use the creatures of light to charge your flight ability. Look around until you see a rock formation on a ledge.
Use your flight ability to get up to there.
Once you are up there, press Y to light the torch on the rock.
When you have lit it, this will lower an area opposite you.
Head over here quickly — if the f𒈔lame runs out then the area will rise again. If it does this, just head back and light it again.
Once on this platform, light the torch there. This will 🌊raise the platform up, so qu🌌ickly jump to the next area (it looks like it has a big window there).
If you take your time, the platform will lower again and you will need to relight it to get back up here.
Once here, walk to your right (follow the windows if you’re unsure).
At the end of the hall, turn right and you will see a doorway marked by two glowing rocks. Inside the roo💞m will be a sculpture surrounded by candles.
Head into here. Once you have been approached by creatures of the light, head back down to the center of the room below you.
Press A to call the creatures of the light to you. Keep pressing and holding B, and they will help you get back through the hole you fell through.
When you are back outside, look around until you see a hole in the side of the mountain. Head into that.
Follow the path through the cave. Keep an eye on your right for a little area branching off of the main cave.
You’ll see the winged light instantly when you turn down that corner. That’s it for this one!
