VR was once our vision of what the future of video games will be. The technology has been commercially available for a while now, but it feels like we have just barely scratched 𓃲the surface of what virtual reality is capable of. However, even in its infancy, we have been blessed with a number of fantastic games.
While some may say that VR games can be a little too isolating, there are a plethora of excellent options for people who are interested in shorter experiences. So, if you are looking for VR games that allow you to get in and get out, we have some superb titles for you t🌠o try.
10 Farpoint
Farpoint sold itself with one thing and one thing alone: the PSVR Aim Controller. That isn't to say that Farpoint isn't an enjoyable title. It absolutely is. But the Aim controller takes it from merely 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:enjoyable to deeply immersing.
Farpoint sees you scouring an alien planet while being hunted by bug-like alien creatures. If insects give you the heebie-jeebies, this one is probably not for you. All in all, you will probably clear Farpoint in about four or five hours. It isn't particularly long, but it is definitely memorable.
9 𓄧 Astro Bot Rescue Mission 🦋
Nearing roughly seven hours, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Astro Bot is on the long side of short. However, given that it is one of the very best VR experiences out there, it absolutely deserves a mention. Astro Bot is a platforming game. The player looks down on the titular hero from above and assists them as they navigate brilliantly designed stages and rescue Astro Bot's friends.
You will look around objects, look under objects, and position yourself in a number of poses in order to get the best angle possible (and find secrets). The campaign is an absolute delight. You can easily finish it in a sitting or two, but don't be surprised if you come back for a second go-around.
8 🐠 Knocko🅷ut League
Knockout League is an excellent mix between a VR boxing experience and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Punch-Out. You will have to dodge punches and take advantage of your opponent's weaknesses, all while engaging in some genuinely strenuous exercise. This one is super deceptive.
You will finish Knockout League in a few hours, but t🌠here is no chance those hours will be consecutive. After a twenty-minute session, you will more than likely be huffing and puffing. This is both a great game to play for fun, and a first-rate means for shaving off a pound or two.
7 Vader I🍒mmortal🧸: A Star Wars VR Series
This is a fantastic little side-story set in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars universe. While many people are aware of the lightsaber dueling component, which is quite engaging, many are unaware of the campaign. Which is too bad, as it is a well-actedꦍ and thrilling adventure.
Vader Immortal’s story mode features a number of locations, a ton of novel interactions, and some excellent action. It only lasts about two hours, but it is such a tight experience that you won't mind. It feels like the closest thing we have to an interactive Star Wars movie. It is genuinely very cool for fans of the series.
6 🎶 Blood And Truth 💎
When the PSVR was first released, and VR Worlds was released alongside it, there was one experience that stood out: The London Heist game. This was an entrancing, ci𒉰nematic title that felt like you were in a movie.
Well, Sony saw the response and promptly got London Studios working on a full-scale experience - and they delivered. Blood and Truth is an all-killer, no-filler, five-hour-long, Guy Ritchie-esque rollercoaster ride. It is absolutely glorious and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a must-play PSVR exclusive.
5 Ace Comb🌳at 7 VR Missions ꧂
When it was announced that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ace Combat 7 was going to support VR, fans were pumped. However, when it came out that the entire game🔴 was not going to be playable in VR, that enthusiasm died down a little. Despite the VR missions being cordoned off from the rest of the game, it would be a mistake to write them off.
There are three missions in total, and they all form a little narrative. It isn't the intrigue-lined soap opera found in the main campaign, but it is more than enough to string together these captivating missions. You can complete the VR experience in under two hours, but you may just find yourself coming back for more runs. At the end of the day, Ace Combat 7's VR gameplay is absolutely top-notch.
4 P🌠istol Whip
While Pistol Whip has quite a few engaging stages to play through and offers nearly infinite replayability, it also comes with a campaign mode. This campaign features a delightfully corny,﷽ bleak story that 🎀feels like it was crafted by diehard Terminator fans.
The campaign is beatable in just a few short hours (though playing it on the hardest difficulty will extend your runtime quite a bit), but it is a thrilling ride from start t𝄹o finish. Even without the campaign, Pistol Whip is one of the best VR games around, so having an excellent campaign on top of it makes it an incredible value.
3 Supಞe𒐪rhot VR
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Superhot is an engaging cross between a first-person shooter and a puzzle game. Here, the puzzle is figuring out how you are going to dispatch the hordes of enemies that have surrounded you. The trick is that time itself is dramatically slowed while you stay still. It is like the whole game is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:played in bullet time.
This makes for a game that is both thrilling and thought-provoking. The main campaign ca🐷n be cleared in a matter of hours, which may leave you wanting more, but ultimately those𒆙 hours are very enjoyable ones. And hey, if you are looking for a quality - yet brief - VR experience, then this is an excellent choice.
2 🌞Tetrisꦗ Effect
It is very hard to explain why a person needs to play Tetris in VR. However, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tetris Effect is not your standard Tetris title. Ins𒅌tead, it is a gorgeous, meditative, ♊audio and visual experience. The way the imagery envelops you in the VR mode pushes this even further.
Tetris Effect can already be an emotionally rich, riveting journey, but paired with the deeply immersive VR experience it is even more enthralling. One playthrough of Tetris Effect will only take a few hours, but they are hours you will remember. It is hard to picture until you actually pick up the controller and put on the goggles, 168澳洲幸运♔5开奖网:but Tetris Effect is truly b𝐆uilt differently.
1 Moss
Clocking in at roughly four hours, Moss is a delightful adventure akin to something like Redwall or Mouse Guard. This is one of those VR experiences where you don't take the perspective of the protagonist, but view the world from above (which will help people 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:who feel a little motion sick when playing more active VR games). Moss is an action game with an emphasis on puzzles, with a little platforming thrown in. It is all relatively simple, but it manages to have just enough mechanical depth to not feel thoughtless.
This is a genuinely beautiful game. It conveys the world and the characters perfectly. Scale is something that VR is able to deliver in ways that traditional gaming isn't able to. And there is no game better at demonstrating that than Moss. This is an absolutely delightful adventure, and it shows how truly dynamic and excellent VR can be. If you are looking for a quick bite-size adventure in VR, then you will have a hard time doing any better than Moss.
