Here are the best episodes of Season 2﷽ in Severance!

And now that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Season 2 has officially wrapped up, there are more memorable moments to tally up on our ever-growing list. Some of the best moments in th🦄e show are the absolutely unhinged quotes that we get from the characters. Whether it’s serious or a little 🐠silly, here are some of our most memorable quotes from Severance.

8 “The Work Is Mysterious And Important.”⛄

- Mark S. To Helly

Mark smiles at his team in Severance.

One of the biggest questions Severance holds is what exactly are the Innies doing while on the severed floor? It’s certainly abstraꦑct: a bunch of random numbers that the employees have to sift through, group together, and drop in its corresponding box. Wཧhile the reveal of what exactly the Innies have been doing has been revealed in Season 2, at the beginning of Season 1 we were just as lost as Helly when she first started.

In an effort to help Helly adjust to being 𓄧severed, Mark repeats a phrase commonly repeated by Lumon: “The work is mysterious and important.” It’s one of the first quotes in Severance, alluding to som👍ething more happening behind the scenes, making it the perfect quote to essentially sum up the show. The work is, indeed, mysterious, and we’ll have to find out for ourselves just how important it really is.

7 🐷 “Devour Feculence.”

- Mr. Milchick To Mr. Drummond

Mr. Milchick greets Mark back to the severed floor in Severance.

Seth Milchick is one of those characters you love and hate. After Ms. Cobel’s swift exit from managing the severed floor in Season 1, Mr. Milchick is put in charge of managing the employees in Season 2🐽 — but things aren’t going as smoothly as he thought.

On top of the ever-growing pressure from Lumon’s higꦅher ups to have Mark finish Cold Harbor, Milchick unfortunately had to meet with Lumon’s version of H꧋R to address his continuous failures, including his use of ‘complicated’ and ‘big’ words in his sentences.

It’s a massive slight to his character, causing his allegiance to Lumon to waver.♏ All the continued microaggressions against Milchick continue to pile up until, finally, he can’t take it anymore. This makes it all the more satisfying when he finally stands up to Mr𒆙. Drummond and essentially tells him, and Lumon, to “eat sh*t” — but in the classic Milchick way.

6 "If You Want A Hug, Go To Hell And Find Your Mother." 🅺

- Ms. Cobel To Doug Graner

Ms. Cobel greets an old friend in her hometown in Severance.

Harmony Cobel has plenty of memorable quotes, thanks in part to Patricia Arquette’s amazing cadence while she speaks, but this is one of the best. In S💝eason 1, Cobel is informed by Doug Graner that one of the ex-severed employees, Petey, has indeed died from reintegration sickness. Graner attempts to offer her some comfort, saying neither of them were to blame for Petey’s death and assuring her the Board would understand.

But in a cold response, Cobel simply replies: "If you want a hug, go to hell and find your𒐪 mother." This conversation happens earlier in Season 1, quickly showcasing to the audience that Cobel is harsh, detached, and uncaring. It’s a great moment that shines more on her character and demeanour, setting the audience up for what’s toᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ come later on.

5 “L𒆙et’s Burn This Place To The Ground.”

- Irving B. To MDR

Innie Irving Confronting Helly R In 'Woe's Hollow' From Severance.

Fans were immediately hooked on the blossoming love story between Irving B. and Burt G. in Season 1 of Severance, with a cute will-they-won’t-they moment happening as the two tried to push down their feelings for each other while maintaining a professional relatio𒐪nship. Unfortunately, the relationship is quickly cut short in a power move by Lumon, who forces Burt to 'retire' from the O&D department, which Irving only finds out about when he stumbles into the retirement party and confronts Mr. Milchick in a heartbreaking monologue.

Once Irving returns to the Macro Data Refinement team, he off𒁃icially joins the team’s efforts to take down Lumon, insisting they “burn this place to the ground.” It’s an impactful moment in the show, made even better when you know that one of the key traits that Irving had was that he was extremely loyal to Lumon. So, having him officially break due to losing the love of his life makes this line all the more powerful.

4 “I Am Certain You Will Remain With Me In Spirit, In Some Deep And Yet Completel✨y Unaccessible Corner Of My Mind.”

- Burt G. During His 'Retirement' Party

Burt has dinner with Irving in Severance.

Another emotional moment during Burt’s retirement party was the he꧂artbreaking monologue that Christopher Walken gave. During the retirement, Burt’s Outie records a video explaining why he is 'retiring' and says this line. Unfortunately, Burt is completely right. While he has built these relationships, he won’t even be aware of who was down below on the severed floor💛.

This is even more emotional when you realize this is also referring to the relationship that Irv♓ing and Burt had. Burt won’t remember Irving and the love that he had for him and that makes this line hurt fans in their feelings all over again.

3 𝔉 “Please Try To Enjoy Each Fact Equally, And Not Show Preference For Any Over The Others.”

- Ms. Casey/Gemma To Irving

Gemma At Lumon In 'Chikhai Bardo' From Severance.

Oh, Ms. Casey. One of the more strange employees on the severed floor, Ms. Casey acts as the Wellness Counselor for the employees. In he🅠r Wellnes🐻s Sessions (which the employees are sent to for a sort of morale boost), Ms. Casey speaks almost mechanically and detached as she lists off Outie facts for the Innie to enjoy.

There's a surprising am🦄ount of philosophical life advice in the Pokemon animꦅe.

But during the sessions, she makes it a point to tell each employee that they mustn't enjoy one fact over the🍰 other, and they shouldn’t show any preference for one over the other. It’s certainly a silly moment in an extremely serious show, but this line has quickly beco🎐me a fan-favorite on social media.

2 “Our Job Is To Taste Free Air. Your So-Called Boss May Own The Clock ♔That Taunts You From The Wall, But, My Friends, The Hour Is Yours." 💟

- Ricken Hale In His Book

Ricken talks to Natalie from Lumon in Severance.

Ricken Hale is Mark’s eccentric brother-in-law, whose career centers around writing self-help books. While Outie Mark views Ricken as ridiculous anꩵd often makes fun of him, Innie Mark (who doesn’t know that Ricken is his brother-in-law due to being severed) absolu❀tely adores him. After Ricken’s latest novel finds its way onto the severed floor, it serves as the catalyst for the Macro Data Refinement Uprising.

Most of Hale’s words are certainly silly (“Bullies are nothing but Bull and Lies.”) but there is some wisdom behind them. This quote in particular starts to force the Innie’s to realize that they have their own autonomy, despite being told that they’re not ‘real’ compared to the❀ir Outies.

1 “She’s Alive!” 🀅

- Mark S. To Devon

Innie Mark At Lumon In 'Trojan's Horse' From Severance.

Arguably the biggest revelation that the Season 1 finale gave u🙈s was that Ms. Casey is actually Mark’s long-lost dead wife, Gemma. This discovery happens when the team use the Overtime Contingency and manage to wake up in the Outie world while their 'Innie' consciousness is present, completely outside the confines of Lumon Industries.

It’s a massive reveal that, frankly, none of us saw coming, made all the more impactful by the fact that this is the last line spoken in the finale before it cuts to black, showing that we truly don’t know what is going on behind the scenes with Lumon; and it’s even more effective when this was the last line fans were left with during 168澳🙈洲幸运5开奖网:the three-year gap between Season 1 and 2.
