To make sure that this shrine doesn't wind up being your tomb, here's our guide to solving the puzzles of the Shrine Of The Coral Tomb as well as the locations of the hidden journals.

How to Solve The Lever Puzzles

  • Make your way down into the water when you reach this shrine's location on the map. The entrance is behind a Siren Window, so shoot the blinking coral above it to get inside.
  • Behind the window will be a small room with some barrels full of supplies. There's also a hole with water pouring into it. Jump into the hole. I hope you like theme park rides and aren't easily nauseated as you'll essentially be going down a giant water slide for a bit.
  • At the end of the slide, you'll land in a pool of water that usually has some decent loot lying at the bottom.
  • Now you're in the main area of the shrine and it's time to solve some puzzles. These puzzles work similarly to the Siren Statue puzzles of the A Pirate's Tall Tales from Season Three. Look around for this picture on the wall.

  • You'll notice that there are no statues to hit this time. Instead, there are levers nearby with those symbols drawn next to them.
  • There will be three puzzles with levers surrounded by different colors of coral.
  • The order in which you need to pull the levers won't change. So that means you'll always pull the gem lever first, the coral lever second, and then the chain lever at the end.
  • The first three levers will be surrounded by glowing blue coral. The gem lever is at the bottom of the pool, the coral lever is across from that one behind a stone pillar, and the chain lever will be visible from the surface of the water.
  • Pull them and if you did it correctly, triumphant music will play, statues above you will glow red, and some secret entrances will open up. Sirens will also appear, so deal with them before moving on.
  • It's time to solve another level puzzle, but this time the levers have yellow coral surrounding them.
  • The gem lever can be found in a new area just past a Sunken Merfolk Statue on the surface of the water. The coral lever is in a new area underwater, which you can spot by looking for big red coral that looks like this.

  • The chain lever for this puzzle won't be too far from the first chain lever on the surface of the water.
  • Pull them all correctly and music will play, the statues will glow, secret areas will open, and more sirens will appear for you to fight.
  • The last lever puzzle involves levers surrounded by red coral. The gem lever will be found through this entrance with red coral with blue coral on the outside.

  • Swim below and to the right of the yellow coral chain lever and you'll find the area where the lever with the coral symbol will be. The final chain should be easy to find as it won't be too far from the other chain levers.
  • If you pulled each lever correctly, water will pour into the area so you can reach the areas above.
  • Gather up all the treasure and store it with the Sunken Merfolk Statue at the top level of the shrine.

Shrine Of The Coral Tomb Journal Locations
