Runescape: Dragonwilds is currently in Early Access, and everything mentioned in t🍸his article is subject to change.
Where To Start Highlighting The Problem Quest
The main reason to do Highlighting the Problem quest in Runescape: Dragonwilds is the final reward called the Staff of Light. While you won't be able to craft this item for a while, you can finish the quest as soon as you reach the Bramblemead Valley area. ✱To start it, you'll first have to enter the vault in this area, which can be seen on the northern part of the map.
As you explore this vault, you'll enter a sandy section with some broken pillars right after you get the first Vault Core. You'll first have to defeat four rats in this area and then look to th🐼e right edge from where you entered, and you'll see an opening high up. You have to use the Windstep spell to get up there, and you can interact with the statue in it to start the quest.
You can unlock the Windstep spell very early in the Runecrafting skill tree, and it's required to finish this quest.
How To Find The Statue In Runecrafting Guild
The first step of this quest is finding a statue in the Runecrafting Guild, and the area highlighted for it can be seen to the left of the vault on the map. To get to this statue, you first have to exit the vault and jump through the gap on your right as you exit. Move in the southeastern direction from here until you see a road leading up the mountain to the northwest.
This road will be filled with stone boulders, and as you reach the top, you'll find a bunch of goblins near the building that you can see on the map. You can find the statue as you go through a small gate on the bottom left of this building's picture on the map, and interacting with it will continue the quest.
How To Interact With Every Pedestal
After you interact with the open statue in the Runecrafting Guild, the voice will ask you to interact with three pedestals found above the three structures surrounding the main building in the area. You'll not only need the Windstep spell to reach these, but also position yourself in a specific manner෴ to make up for the height.
To start, head over to the pedestal building just a bit to the right of where the statue is pointing. Go around this building and you'll find a small platform with a couple of stairs. Stand on thi♔s platform and use Windstep to reach the first ෴pedestal on top of the building, but you'll have to be quite precise with your jump.
From the first pedestal, you'll see a small roof connecting you to the main building in the middle. Slowly walk on this roof as far as you can and then use Windstep to jump to the terrace on the right side. You can unlock a chest here and then go to🅘 the othe💦r end of this terrace to use Windstep again, which will get you to the bit just above you.
From here, you can use Windstep once again to directly jump to the second building with the pedestal. You won't be 🥂able to make this jump if you try directly from the terrace, and this little increase in elevation with another Windstep helps a lot.
Finally, for the third pedestal, you can go back on the ground and move around the building to find a few crates beside it. Find the crates that have the least distance from the ro💞🔯of and you can Windstep your way to the roof, getting you all three pedestals. Head back to the statue afterward to unlock the Staff of Light.
This item will require 16 Blightwood, eight Wild Anima, four Sapphire, 12 Vault Shards, and one Vault Core to make.
