What if we told you there's a way to get Runescape: Dragonwilds' gems with relative ease? If that sounds too good to be true, it partly is; a measure of luck is indeed mandatory here. But there are ways to increase the odds in your favor, and we'll discuss how to a🐈chieve just that.

All Runescape: Dragonwilds Gems And What They're Used For
There are presently four types of gems in the game: Opal, Jade, Sapphire, and Red Topaz. They're all tied to the Smithing Anvil, a buildable device used for, well, smithing.
At the Smithing Anvil, you can add gems as recipe ingredients in order to enhance your gear, especially weapons. If you're just starting out in Runescape: Dragonwilds, don't worry about this just yet, but you'll hit a point at which these upgrades are available, and they're very good, i﷽ndeed.
You will need to reach level 16 in mining before you'll learn the perk entitled Gem Prospector, which will allow you to occasionally find these gems. But seeing as obtaining gems is exceedingly rare regardless, you'll not exactly꧃ be missing many golden opportunities therein between level 1 and 15.

Gem-Finding Tips
There's not a ton that can be done to hasten this process, but there are still a handful of༺ tips we can provide.
- For starters, use the Rocksplosion spell when you can, as it will wreck numerous veins. It's similar in nature to those other basic action speed-ups, like the one that brings down trees.
- If possible, play with other people. We get it, not everyone loves venturing outside solo - we can be fairly solo-centric, ourselves! But the more, the merrier when it comes to odds games like gem-farming.
- Try not to obsess; we're not kidding, this is, in fact, a tip. Right now, some players are reporting entire playthroughs without more than a couple of gems found, which means there's either a glitch or a desperate need for rebalancing. Don't laser-focus on gems until you burn out!
