This serves two purposes; first, to buff Physical Defense for vulnerable teammates, and second, to counter the Earth leyline and prevent Dantarg from regenerating.

Dantarg's basic attacks tend to alternate between a single-target kick and Fissure Strike, which hits targets in a co♈lumn. If you have a Formation that spaces out your units, that can help prevent Fissure Strike from hitting too many characters at o🦩nce.

This is an improved version of Headbutt that can wipe your party on the first encounter unless everyone is fully healed and buffed. S🍌urviving this attack is the single most important thing when it comes to beating Dantarg. If you can do that, all you need to do is keep hitting him the way you've been doing the whole fight.

If Dantarg defeats you with Raging Headbutt in the first encounter, it doesn't count as a proper defeat unless the Empero🍨r hits zero LP. Instead, everyone in the party loses one LP, Dantarg i𒉰nsults you, and then leaves.

Dantarg's Third Form

If you're forced to fight Dantarg a second time, he'll still be in his second form. In this fight, he'll transform again when his health hits zero, revealing a third, even more powerful form.
