Rocbouquet is one of Romancing Saga 2: The Revenge of the Seven's titular seven heroes of legend. Among the seven, she is the most adept at magic, and the most charming of the bunch (that's a joke, you'll get it later). She's also one of the bigger pain-in-the-butt bosses to pin down✨.

When all is said and done, you will need to complete three dungeons and battle four bosses in order to fight Rocbouquet. That is a lot of faffing about! I'll give you the short and sweet of how to bee-line it to Rocbouquet, as well as breakdown the boss encounter 💫itself.

How To Get To Rocbouquet

Your first order of business is going to be getting to Eirunep. You will do that by traveling to Salamat, and exiting the map via the dead-center south exit - you get to Salamat via the southeast exit of Savannah. Once in Eirunep, you could go to Eirunup Tower, which is where you will first run into Rocbouquet. Instead, we're going to save and then leave via the eastern exit. This w🔯ill ta🌳ke us to the Eirunup Shrine. Here we'll run into the Guardian, who is going to be our first boss we'll need to fight.

You can choose to fight the Guardian later, but if you do, you won't have an opportunity to save before the battle, which makes losing to him extra obnoxious. The best way is to fight him first.

The Guardian Boss Fight

The Guardian will resist every status effect except stun. So, the means you have for affecting his turn is to stun him. Beyond that, he doesn't have any elemental weaknesses, but he is weak to the great sword, mace, and martial arts. Since he hits so unbelievably hard, I recommend bringing a heavy-armor-wearing character and using the Imperial Cross formation (with the heavy in front, o𝓡f course).

Additionally, having the Bonecrusher skill for staff/mace/hammer users is extremely useful, as it will reduce his d𒊎amage output. Add on the Water Dance to buff your heavy, and they💟 will be good to go. From there, keep people healed (especially your character in front), debuff the Guardian's attack with the Bonecrusher technique whenever the debuff wears off, and you will be able to eventually take him out.

While you can use a couple of different units to act as your shield here, the Heavy Infantry's Auto-Parry ability does make them a strong choice.

Descending The Eirunup Tower

Once you have taken out the Guardian, head back to Eirunup and enter the Eirunup Tower. The first two floor🏅s are pretty self-explanatory. The corridor is a spiraling set of stairs. So, that is a pretty linear path, and the 5th floor simply has you work through to the southwest corner of the floor. The fourth floor 🔯has two levels to it, and you need to exit through the second level. You can do this by hopping across the platforms on the west side of the room, or by dropping down, and hooking around and up via the east side.

Once you are on the third floor, just drop down the ma𒆙ssive hole in the middle of the room and head for the southeast corner of the room. You'll find a hole in the wall here, which you can crawl through (this is a handy-dandy shortcut). Go through the door, and head down to the final level. There is a savepoint and a BP restoration point here. Use 'ꦇem both, as you are about to fight another boss.

The Ruffle Tree Boss Fight

The Ruffle Tree isn't that big of a deal. It is weak to staffs꧅/hammers, martial arts, fire magic, and earth magic. It will attack you with drain magic. Its most obnoxious attacks, however, will see 🅠it cast confuse on your entire party and sleep on your entire party. So, having some character who can cast Physic Water will be helpful (make sure you equip them with accessories that will make them immune to sleep as well, if you have any on hand).

While you can't stun the Ruffle Tree, you can put it to sleep, so attacks such as the Headblow are super useful here. In general, the Ruffle Tree is a far🍌 easier boss than the Guardian, Martial Artists are particularly good at melting its health bar. With a few healers on your squad, and some abilities to put the tree to sleep, you should be♔ able to chop this tree down without too much difficulty.

To The Eirunup Shrine

This dungeon is an extremely short one. The first two rooms exist to show you how the puzzle mechanic works. Light up the pathway to the gate by interacting with the crystalline structure. The third room will have three portals, with three crystals in plain view: one in front of the central portal, and one behind each portal beside the central portal. However, when you enter the room, if you look to your left, you will see a hole in the🌃 wall.

Crawl through that hole and you will find a fourth cr𓂃ystal. Crawl back through the hole, then take a right, and hook around to find a fifth crystal. Once all five of them have been activated, you will be able to enter the next room via the center portal. In the next room, there will be some giant monsters that you can easily circle around. Then, you will encounter another save point and recovery point. Save up, and prepare to fight the next boss: the Kaiser Ant.

The Kaiser Ant Boss Battle

You will need to fight the Kaiser Ant once you have worked your way to the end of the tower. This creature is weak to maces, spears, water magic, and earth magic. It is also extremely susceptible to stun and sleep. It has a few fairly hard-hitting attacks and gets two turns, but if you hit it with a consistent diet of stun and sleep-inducing techniques you will rarely see them. With the right abilities at your disposal, this fight should be a cake🐻walk.

To The Sunken Tower

Now, chase Rocbouquet to Salamat. She will have opened the massive stone door that was previously locked in the eastern section of the map. The closest entrance is via the Amazon Village (just teleport there and leave via the path). You will now be at the Sunken Tower. This dungeon is relatively straightforward. You are stꦡarting high, and working your way to the bottom (as the tower is sunken).

When you hit the 5th floor, you will work your way to the southwest corner of the floor. The 4th floor is a series of platforms where standing in the center of them will lower a bridge. Work your way across each platform, bridging each gap as you do, and you will circle the room and end up at th꧑e exit. Upon walking onto the 3rd floor, the ground will crumble under your feet, and you will plummet to the bottom floor, where you will be attacked by a Water Dragon. This dragon is weak to swords, rapiers, and fire magic.

Leave the 2nd floor via the stairs, and climb back up to the third floor. In the northwest corner of the 3rd floor, you'll find three sets of arches. Each one had an enemy guarding them tha🌜t you cannot draw out. If you fight the wrong monster, the ground will cave in under you again. The order you want to travel in is center, right, and then left. Head for the stairs, and you will end up at a save 🌸point and a recovery point. Recover your BP and save, you'll need to fight another water dragon. This one seems to have a new lightning spell that will hit multiple party members. Outside of that, they are the same as the other one you already fought.

Rocbouquet Boss Fight

Rocbouquet has a poison attack, she will also try to charm your party members with her temptation spell. She has wind magic at her disposal. She is weak to maces, martial arts, ho𝓡ly magic, and earth magic. If you have a primarily female party, two healers, and you choose the free formation, Rocbouquet is a sho💞ckingly easy fight. You don't want your party members to be lined up, as she has a wind spell capable of hitting a row of party members.

If you do bring a male character into this battle, just make sure they have an accessory (like the Somon Ring) equipped that will protect them against being charmed. Additionally, since all her attacks are magic-based, kit your party out so that they have as high a magic defense as possible. She doesn't have any physical attacks at all, so your p🧸hysical defense is pretty much irrelevant. Naturally, you will want a few characters with Physic Water to help manage the poison.
