Bokhohn was considered the wisest of the Seven Heroes in Romancing Saga 2: Revenge Of The Seven, and he developed the group'sꦆ strategy for defeating the insectoid menace that threatened the world. After his transformation, he's become a master manipulator with big plans and inscrutable designs.

Bokhohn's fortress is the impenetrable Landship that threatens the Steppe Nomads to the east of Avalon. Just getting to him will require outsmarting the Empire's most brilliant tactical mind, to say nothing of actually beating him once you have him cornered. Defeating Bokhohn offers several rewards, though, not just a victory over one of the H♑eroes.

How To Infiltrate The Landship Fortress

Exploring the eastern continent will bring you to the Nomad Village, where you can meet Altan and Fatima. These steppe warriors will ask for your help in destroying the Landship, which is 🔜disturbing the environment and disrupting the nomads' way of life.

Follow the pair onto the Steppe, where they'll take you to the Landship; you won't be able to get in, though. After the cutscene, talk to the other nomads in the village to come up with other ideas.

There are two ways to infiltrate the Landship; one is𝄹 strictly better than the other, but you can only att🍷empt it once.

Let Yourself Get Captured

The basic way to get into the Landship is to travel to Miles and speak to the locals. They'll say that a shady recruiter is looking for people to work on board the Landship. When you've spoken to everyone, talk to the Recruiter near the docks. He'll poison your pꦦarty and take you to the Landship.

Once you regain consciousness, you'll have to fight an Ogre without weapons or armor to escape your cell. Characters with Martial Arts and Hydrology can win this fight with little problem. Once the guard is beaten, open the large silver chest to behind him to recover your gear.

Everything will be re-equipped to y🔯our party as it was when you were captured - there's no need to go in and put everything back manually.

If you infiltrate the Landship by getting captured, you cannot leave until either Bokhohn or the Emperor is defeated. Fast Travel is disabled and the exit is locked; make sure you're prepared, and bring a team with plenty of LP to survive th♐e enemies inside.

Enlist The Imperial Strategist

The much better way to enter the Landship is to return to Avalon and get Shiyuan the Strategist to devise a plan. Shiyuan can be found in the library of the Imperial University; take a left as soon as you enter the bu𝓀ilding and look for a man with a visor and bright yellow hair.

If you haven't yet built the University, you can do so from the Throne Room for two million crowns, provided the Empire🥀 has at least five Territories.

Talk to Shiyuan, then meet him in Mobelm to hear more about his plan to build his own battleship. From there, return to the Nomad Village. Head out to the Steppe to find the construction camp where the ship is being built. When you're ready, talk to Shiyan again to begin the attack on the Landship.

If you enter the Landship this way, you can leave at any time by returning the the entrance point; Shiyuan can sneak you back on board if you talk to him at the campfire in the Nomad Village. However, if you die on board the Landship, Bokhohn will know not to fall for another diversion,🥃 and you'll only be able to ent✤er by getting captured on future attempts.

In addition to being safer, entering the Landship with Shiyuan's help disables the conveyor belts, making it much easier to navigate the interior since corridors become two-way instead of one-way. Finally, getting Shiyuan to help will allow you to recruit his descendants as party members after Bokhohn is defeated.

Notable Locations On Board The Landship

The Landship has three floors; the first mostly just contains the entrance and the prison area, though you should still explore it thoroughly for loot. The second floor is the largest and has plenty of rewards, but there are two particular areas that you definitely don't want to miss.

• The magic lab to the right of the elevator is guarded by some wizards. After defeating them, squeeze behind the bookcase to the left to find a Magic Tome with the synthesis recipe for Heat Hand.
• The treasury is directly across from the elevator, but you'll need to loop around to reach the entrance since you'll be looking at it from the back. Fight your way past the Ogre guards to get the three chests inside, including new equipment.

The third floor has a large group of Ogres guarding it, but once you're past them you can recover your BP, save, and take the elevator to the bridge and𝐆 fight Bokhohn.

How To Beat Bokhohn

Bokhohn isn't particularly strong, especially considering he's one of the game's main bosses, but he has some nasty tricks up his sleeve that can cause you to hand him the fight if you aren't cautious. Even though he primarily uses magic, you'll want a balanced set of defenses; his Marionette spell can cause your party members to attack one another, so you need to be prepared to take hits from your own strongest moves!

If you know the Ev🌞asions for your own moves, equipping them at the Training Hall before entering the Landship could be a smart way to get around Marionette.

When Bokhohn does attack on his own, it will usually be with Dark-elemental magic damage. The first part of the fight should be ♔pretty tame; focus on dealing damage while one to two casters keep your HP topped up.

Bokhohn's Weaknesses

Bokhohn is wea🍒k agains🌊t the following damage types:

• Swords
• Axes
• Clubs
• Bows
• Martial Arts
• Aerology (Wind)

The Small Dolls are weak against:

• Greatswords
• Spears
• Axes
• Pyrology (Fire)
• Cosmology (Light)

Bokhohn's Puppets

When Bokhohn's health drops below half, he'll deploy the Small Dolls. Not only does this add two more enemies making attacks, but it also drastically reduces the rate at which you'll be able to damage Bokhohn. Each Small Doll that's🐼 alive gives Bokhohn a huge Defense buff.

Since Bokhohn and the Small Dolls are both Weak to Axes, repeatedly using Rolling Slash to hit all three is an effective strategy.

Try to split your focus between Bokhohn and the puppets; if a character doesn't have any damage types that the Small Dolls are weak against, have them go ahead and attack Bokhohn. They'll still do a little bit of damage, and more importantly, they'll build up the Overdrive Gauge for you to launch a United Attack; you can do this either to eliminate the Dolls or wait until the✅y're down andꦜ Bokhohn is vulnerable.

Bokhohn will quickly resurrect🌱 the Small D𒉰olls once they're defeated, so get your hits in while you can.

The Giant Doll

When Bokhohn's health is down to about twenty percent, he'll dismiss the Small Dolls and summon the Giant Doll. The Giant Doll hits hard enough to outpace your healing, so once it arrives you need to end the fight fast.

The Giant Doll is meant to be a distraction; it heals for over 4000 HP every round, meaning you're unlikely to kill it even with a concerted effort. Meanwhile, Bokhohn's shield is gone, even though it looks like it's still there; it's just another one of his tricks. Ignore the Doll, heal when necessary, and hit Bokhohn with everything you have to finish him off before ♓the Giant Doll can wipe your party.

Rewards For Defeating Bokhohn

When Bokhohn falls, the fight will end. The Nomad Village and the surrounding Steppe will become a part of the Empire, giving you a new Territory and increasing your Revenue. The Nomads will also be recruitable as units; they're proficient with both weapons and magic, and they get useful buffs to healing items.

If you entered the Landship with Shiyuan's help (even if the attempt failed), you'll be able to recruit Strategists as well. Strategists don't have any weapon skills but are very powerful casters. Once the new r📖ecruits have all reported in, a time skip will occur, allowing you to pick a new Emperor and continue the war against the Seven with a new generation.
