When I was 17, I came home from college one day and turned on YouTube to find something to watch. I saw a new upload from IGN - the beginnings of , in which Rory Powers was tasked with completing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls before 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Souls 3 launched.

Alongside Daniel Krupa and Gav Murphy, the three amassed a following of fans (or ‘Slugs’) that supported them through this series, followed by Dark Souls 3, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil, and many other series and spin-off episodes. quꦫickly became a branded subsidiary of IGN UK, and then in 2019, they🔥 left IGN. was born, and the series would continue under the title Retry.

Now, I’m 27 years old, 𒁏and 🔯invoked waves of nostalgia. It’s an emotional moment for the entire community.

Elden Ring Isn’t The End…

RKG Set Split Image

Retry: Elden Ring Part Three isn’t the end of Retry or RKG, but i🔜t feels like the closing of the last ten years, before we head into the next. 17-year-old me would be writing away on blogs, 🐭watching each new Prepare To Try episode, and feeling so much admiration for the three. 27-year-old me is writing away here, , and admiring Rory, Krupa, and Gav’s production quality and passions more than ever.

RKG is mainly funded , which was a risk they took by leaving IG♉N - but one that pa🔜id off within hours of announcing the new channel.

The trailer for Retry: Elden Ring’s third part was released on RKG on April 30, featuring Hurt by Johnny Cash, and showing upcoming footage for the new season. However, it’s the latter half of the trailer that really hits, as clips from the Prepare To Try set are shown, along with direct🍌 comparisons of the set and Rory, Krupa, and Gav throughout the six years since RKG’s launch.

As someone who’s been there since the start, I’m no⛄t ready for Retry: Elden Ring to end, but at the same time, I couldn’t be more excite🐬d to see where the next ten years take us.

There’s So Much To Appreciate About RKG

RKG Video Studio in London

While shooting the original sh🍒ow for IGN gave them a space for production, they were limited by the hardware on hand - still higher quality than the majority of independent channels, but the three cared about the d💙etails in a way that wouldn’t be realised until later.

Now, with RKG’s evolving community support and a dedicated studio in London,⛎ the three can fund much more of their production desires, with the goal to offer the best Let’s Play series on YouTube - and that series has only continued to grow in the last few years.

For example, Retry: Elden Ring’s theme muꦚsic was composed speci🍌fically for the channel, and recorded via live orchestra.

RKG Video is such 🦋an amazing example of a YouTube channel that has so much care and thought put into it. It goes beyond just funding, of course, and the heart of it is three passionate people who each know what makes something truly special, with the ability to take those opportunities thanks to the ongoing support of an equally passionate community.

I couldn’t be more proud of these three, and to have been a part of the community of Slugs s🤡ince the beginning. Here’s to many more years of mayhem.

To the fools.
