Sub-weapons are secondary weapons that serve multiple purposes but usually excel in long-range combat.   1. Press the Options button to open the Pause Menu.
  2. Press L1 or R1 to shift to the Equipment tab.
  3. Select a weapon icon from the Primary Weapons or Sub-Weapons slots to view and alter your equipped weapons.
  4. Move your cursor to the weapon you wish to equip and press Cross (X). This weapon will replace your prior weapon in the slot.
