Even though Resident Evil Requiem (or just Resi 9 if you prefer) was only just revealed earlie🎃r this month as part of Summer Game Fes𓂃t, it feels like we've known about it for quite some time. That's because there ha🌜ve been a boatload of rumours and le♎aks about the ninth mainline Resident Evil game, from 168澳洲幸运5开🌼奖网:Leon Kennedy being the main protagonist to it taking place on an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:island inspired by Singapore.

🌞 My Parasocial Relationship With Resident Evil Leaves Me Con💝flicted About Playing RE9
I’m less Resident Evil, more Acquaintance 🎃Neutral.
Perhaps the most interesting rumour of all, though, is that Resident Evil 9 started out as a multiplayer-focused titl🍸e before Capcom came to its sense and went back to the drawing board. Everything we've seen of Requiem so far hasඣ made that seeಞm unlikely, buꦰt it's actually just been confirmed to be 𓂃true as part of a recent "Creator's Message" that was made for Requiem.
Yes, Resident Evil 9 Really Did Start Out As A Multiplayer Game
We Still Don't Know If Leon And Jill Were Going To Be In It, Though
Yesterday, Capcom held its usual Summer Showcase, which inওcluded a brief segment on Resident Evil Requiem (and some lies about Leon's involveme🥂nt). In an extended , the developers of 🧜the game dived into Requiem's development and what Resident Evil 9 initia🐈lly looked like.
Surprisingly, Capcom took the chance to confirm the rumours and , which we even got to see some early development footage of. The footage seems to show two 🐈characters (which could be Leon and Jill) making their way around a foggy-looking area and sho🦩oting zombies.
This might be copium talking, but the male and female characters really do look like they might be 💜Jill and Leon like the rumour claꦆimed. It's pretty blurry footage, so it's hard to tell.
We don't see much more of the cಌancelled open-world online version of Resident Evil 9, but the developers confiওrmed that it spent some time on the idea and had some "interesting concepts" before scrapping it. The reason for that is simple - Capcom knew that it wasn't what fans really wanted to see from the series.
