The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil franchise is host to tons of different weapons of varying degrees of applicability to different situations. The game usually tosses the player into some sort of sparsely populated area filled with hordes of various kinds of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:zombie-virus-infected people with just a handgun and maybe some green herbs.

As the game progresses, the player can unlock everything from shotguns to rocket launchers (although the games also almost always feature a knife to be used in a pinch). Today, we'll be looking at some of the best and most iconic weapons the games have to offer.

Updated March 7, 2023, by Dominic Allen: With the Resident Evil 4 remake just around the corner, we're taking another dig at the massive truckload of awesome weapons throughout the series. From the classic games to the third-person era to the first-person horror games, every single title has some standout weapons. Hopefully, some of the sweet stuff in the old RE4's arsenal can be found in the new remake, as it would be unfortunate if they don't make the transition. Resident Evil 4 has some of the best weapons in the entire series, so many want these old bad boys to return.

14 PRL 412

The PRL 412's item description in Resident Evil 4.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 4's Professional difficulty can be really tough, with enemies doing far more damage than on Normal. A lot of the time, you'll be shocked by how much health gets taken away. However, once you complete it, you get possibly the most overpowered weapon in the series.

The PRL 412, once charged up, will destroy every breakable object in its range. It can destroy so many things in only one shot. While the rate of fire isn't great, its power more than makes up for it. A perfect reward for beating the hardest mode.

13 Ha🌞ndcannon 🧔

Handcannon screen once its unlocked in Resident Evil 4.

One of the fan-favorite types of weapons in the Resident Evil series must be the magnums. These are often the most damaging weapons, and the Handcannon is definitely in that league. To unlock the Handcannon in Resident Evil 4, you need to get five stars in every level with every character in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:great Mercenaries extra game mode.

It's a bit tough, especially with Leon, but it rips and tears once obtained. It has infinite ammo once fully upgraded, and it's so fun blowing all the enemies back. The Handcannon blasts them so hard that they get lifted off the ground before tumbling over.

12 Gatling Gu♑n ♔

Chris shooting the Gatling Gun at some infected dogs in Resident Evil 5.

The Gatling Gun has been a few Resident Evil games like RE2 and RE3, but the best one has to go to RE5. It takes a bit of time to unlock as you'll need to fully upgrade the VZ61 machine gun and beat the game first. The weapon's only for Chris, but that shouldn't be much of an issue due to its usefulness.

It's essentially RE5's Chicago Typewriter in that it's a deadly machine gun that can quickly kill hordes of enemies. The wind-up to shoot isn't as slow as you might think, and this weapon is almost necessary for Professional difficulty, where you often get put in dying status after only one hit.

11 ♏ LZ Answerܫer

Double-Blade mode activated from the LZ Answerer in Resident Evil: Village.

The highlight weapon in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil: Village has⛦ to be the LZ Answerer. You unlock it by beating every Mercenaries stage with an SS rank, or you can simply pay $5 to get everything from the Extra Content Shop. A movie reference is always nice in a game, and not only is the weapon essentially a lightsaber but a double-sided one.

You can activate the double-blade mode and swing away while imagining Duel of the Fa✃tes in the background. There are many similar lightsaber weapons in game💛s, and the LZ Answerer has to be one of the top among them.

10 ꦬ Spirit Blade

The Spirit Blade from RE7

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has a pretty good range of weapons, occasionally including things like crowbars. This makes sense considering the game is a pretty big departure from anything released between Resident Evil 4 and i🥀tꦛself.

The Spirit Blade is a weapon that works about as well as the combat knife, although it does recover some health when it hits an enemy. That being said, it looks really cool despite how it's really not much of an upgrade after all. It's also difficult to unlock, as you'll need to beat all the extreme challenges in End of Zoe.

9 𝓰 C🐟ircular Saw

The Circular Saw from RE7

Appearing in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (which is, funnily enough, the name of the entire franchise in most other countries), the circular saw is a bonus weapon that's unlocked when the player completes the game on any difficulty in less than four hours.

This weapon is pretty much better than nearly any melee weapon featured in previous games in the series, which makes sense, given the difficult prerequisites. It also has a pretty limited playstyle, given the range and all. For Madhouse mode, it's still very useful, especially for the bosses. Just make sure to get away in time to evade the attacks.

8 ൩ Lightning Hawk 💞

The Lightning Hawk in RE2

The Lightning Hawk has made a few appearances during the duration of the Resident Evil franchise, but the most recent one of its appearances was in the Resident Evil 2 remake. It was in the or𒆙iginal too, and both have an awesome long barrel upgrade making it even more damaging.

As cool as the Lightning Hawk was in that instance, it can't hold a candle to the version in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 6. It's one of the most powerful weapons in the game, handgun or not, that is, if it's used by a good shot.

7 Broken Butterfly 🅺 🐲

Broken Butterfly RE4

The Broken Butterfly is one of the only weapons in Resident Evil 4 that can be both purchased from the shop and picked up out in the world. It is a great idea to upgrade early on in the game rather than using the default pistol. It's a decently powerful magnum, despite the fact that magnum ammo is much rarer than handgun ammo.

That being said, it's the third most powerful weapon in the game, shot for shot, which means as long as the player makes the shot count, it's worth it.

6 Red9

Red9 RE4

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Red9 from Resident Evil 4 is an absolutely iconic fan favorite, not just in the confines of the game but across the entire series. It's a beautiful gun, which looks like it's straight out of a 007 film.

Aside from the fact that it looks great, it's one of the more powerful handguns in the game, even though a pretty slow reload time and doesn't hold nearly as many bullets as one would hope. Either way, the unparalleled love for this gun alone makes up for it (the damage helps too).

5 𝔍 Pale Rider

Pale Rider in RE Revelations

This is an incredibly powerful magnum pistᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚol appearing in both Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2.

It has pretty awful stats in comparison to a lot of the other pistols in the game, but that being said, it packs a wallop the likes of which aren't otherwise seen in either of the Revelations games. It also has a rather um... distinctive design, in that it's a pistol with a barrel the length of about half of the height of the average human body.
