How To Find The Merchant Request
The first step to completing this request is finding it in the first place. Luckily, it's pretty hard to miss since you find the request right at the start of Chapter 12.
All you have to do is take the elevator from the room where you just fought Krauser, and the blue note can be found attached to a wall on your left next to the Merchant.
Reading the note will inform you that a crow has stolen a precious jewel from the Merchant and that the bird has most likely taken itꦍ to its nest in the Courtyard.
How To Get To The Crow's Nest
After accepting the request, make way to the cr✅ow's nest in the Cou𓆏rtyard as the note described.
Backtrack west through the Ballroom and then through the Grand Hall, entering the east side of the Courtyard.
You will then find yourself being squawked at by the thief himself, who then promptly flies ♏away from you.
Conveniently, the crow will lead you right to where you need to go, but for reference's sake, you will go through the Courtyard's west exit, which is directly in front of you.
As you go back th꧟rough the Courtyard, you may encounter Zealots at this point, so be careful.
The crow and its nest will be located north above the Merchant's shop, on the roof adjacent to the mossy archway.
Shoot at the nest and the crow will be scared off💯, dropping the Scratched Emerald right in front of the archway.
Head straight into the Merchant's shop next door and sell the Scratched Emerald to him for 5,000 Pesetas.
You will be rewarded with three Spinels for completing the request.
