The remake of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 4 has some things that are different and other elements that remain largely the same from the classic 2005 game that make it stand out as equally phenomenal. One aspect that has gotten a full-blown makeover is the OG character designs, which ultimately shine 🌸with their new features and concepts.
Whether it be the wicked characters that eventually turn into gruesome Las Plagas contagion bosses, the friendly neighbor💮hood merchant, or the beloved legacy cast, they all had major work done courtesy of the visual design department. And some really are quiℱte the stark contrast.
11 The Merchant ✃
It wouldn't be Resident Evil 4 without this handy merchant right here. The Merchant is your one-stop shop for ammo, health items, weapons, and upgrades, always standing near iconic blue flames. In the original, it was a blue torch, but the remake gives him a glowing blue lantern resting on his table and a purple flame torch to mark his station.
The outfit pretty much remains true to the ♌original down to the design of the bandana, now covering even more of his mys𒅌terious face. The knapsack got a lot bigger and heavier, perhaps to make all of his inventory more believable, and his new dialogue lines give him even more personality and make conversations livelier.
10 𒁏 ♔ Jack Krauser
Leon's former partner from The Darkside Chronicles and Resident Evil 4 antagonist, Major Krauser, still resembles his old 2005 self. His tactical vest received an upgrade with way more military gear covering the exposed undershirt. And he doesn't go shirtless anymore during the castle encounter before the final stage fight, only during the transformation.
And his Plaga mutation now transforms both arms into a giant lethal claw and blade instead of just the left in the original game. His knife skills and vi🎃llainous personality are strong as ever, and the large scar across his left eye and near the upper lip returns. His neck proportions aꦇnd muscle mass seem more realistic as well.
9 💟 🐓 Albert Wesker
Running things behind the scenes and trying to get his hands on a Plaga parasite is bioterrorist Albert Wesker. He's revealed in the end to be working with Ada Wong and becomes a more focal character during the original's Separate Ways campaign. He's still in his central command center staring into his enormous Bat Computer, but you now get a better look at him.
His classic characteristics remain largely the same, sporting dark sunglasses, a signature blonde hairstyle, and a stern face. His outfit changes from a black turtleneck wrapped in a matching suit to a simple black button-down shirt with a brown gun holster like Leon's. His face looks more mature and also more formidable.
8 ♏ ൲ Ingrid Hunnigan
A nice upgrade from the 2005 game is the communication line between Leon Kennedy and his federal agent contact Ingrid Hunnigan. Previously, it would be Ingrid and Leon's character models appearing on-screen in an old radio system talking to each other like Snake in Metal Gear Solid, but now she's on a live call and loses her headset.
Instead of a cutscene conversation, Ingrid appears in a small call screen toward the bottom of your screen, which allows movement around the environment. Her red glasses, gray ๊suit, and white collared shirt remain as they were. Her hair has more natural curls, and she see♐ms a little younger.
7 ♏ Bitores Mendez
The Village Chief is the menacing and recurring presence in the early part of Leon's journey in Resident Evil 4. This pious believer in the Plagas parasites is given additional accessories in the remake. Most notable are his rounded black hat concealing that bald head for a brief time, a thicker and more graying beard, and a golden Plaga pendant around his neck.
His one blue and one red eye are just as creepy, along with his final boss form. And his black coat seems like it had some dry cleaning done. His immense stature and strength can still have him toss Leon around as though he's the Hulk, and he's more a man of a few words in this one.
6 Luis Sera
With Luis Sera, you can start seeing a significant change in the character design. He certainly looks more mature with the increased facial hair, and there's a clear age difference between him, Leon, and Ashley. His uniquely patterned silver vest is no more, and he's given a burgundy leather jacket with a similar pattern going around it instead and a white collared shirt underneath.
It also seems like he's changed out hair stylists, as his hair is shinier and fuller in the remake. Though he loses old cheesy lines like referring to Mendez as the "Big Cheese," his charm and fun dynamic with Leon is nonetheless accounted for. The ring on his right index finger also stays as his accessory.
5 Ada Wong
Ada Wong is now more appropriately dressed for the job in this installment, trading in a slit red butterfly dress for a warmer red turtleneck piece with long black leather heel boots and gloves. And if her voice sounds familiar, her voice actress is Lily Gao, who also portrayed the live-action version of Ada Wong in 2021's Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
Her character model continues to be the one from the Resident Evil 2 Remake, and her intro is precisely the same, unlike Luis', where she shoots Bitores Mendez through a window and grapples away to escape. Where things diverge is she leaves Leon on the island on friendlier mutual terms in the ending.
4 ✅ Osmund Saddler
The Los Iluminados leader and Resident Evil 4's central antagonist, Osmund Saddler, manages to get somehow more disturbing in his redesign here. Once the hood comes off, you'll notice that his hair has all disappeared, and nothing but jagged bumps from the parasitic Plaga infection remain, giving him an almost Night King-type look from Game of Thrones.
His purple and golden hooded cult robe and plaga insect chain are faithful to the original design, the most significant changes going toward his deteriorating appearance. His face especially looks more grotesque w✅ith the many scars, black veins, and blood flowing down from his eyes.
3 Leon Kenne💜dy
Same deal with Leon, the 2019 character model makes a resurgence for the Resident Evil 4 Remake, although he now has the lighter blonde hair, a brown leather coat, and a black undershirt with holsters attire from the 2005 game. Leon's character looks more mature and believable for his profession than the one from 18 years back.
His kicks are still a powerful method to use when in combat with the Ganados, and his knife skillsꦺ get an upgrade with stealth kill mechanics and ꦺparrying just about any weapon. His voice acting and delivery are a bit more serious in tone, but overall still keep the classic charm and hilariously cheesy one-liner vibes.
2 𓄧 Ashley Graham
The kidnapped daughter of the US President, Ashley Graham, dresses incredibly more elegant and presidential upon first meeting her in the remake. She wears a snug orange blazer covering her traditional orange turtleneck sweater, a thicker layered scarf around her neck, a skort, and a pair of tights that thankfully avoid further unnecessary sexualizati🌱on.
And she finally looks and sounds near her correct age of around 20 years, not the grossly problematic teenage route the first game went with. Another theme with the remake is covering the characters' ears with more volume of hair, which is exactly what's been done to Ashley's model. But the modders have already 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:made an outrageous remedy for that.
