There are plenty of skips in the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 4, but most require you to go out of bonds. This often involves the use of the Ditman glitch with the Striker. There are not many normal traditional skips, but the r🌱emake has them in spades.

While the RE4 remake does have its share of glitched skips, most can be done in normal gameplay. In fact, quite a lot of them seem completely intended by the developers, with one skip in particular 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:only working in New Game Plus. These skips are easily doable by anyon🎉e as ൩long as you have the right items.

10 ✅ Village Skip ꦆ

Leon parrying Dr. Salvador in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The first major fight in the RE4 remake is the village ambush, and it's a rough start, especially on harder modes. Playing this encounter on New Game Professional can kill you so quickly. It would be great if you could skip this fight, and you can, but only in New Game Plus.

In the spot where you find the Velvet Blue on the roof, you can shoot the Church bell far off in the distance. You can theoretically do this with any weapon, but it's most easily done with a sniper rifle. This is great for speedruns, but no matter how hard you try, this skip cannot be done in a fresh New Game. That's unfortunate, but it's still a neat trick.

9 Cabin Skip ꦯ

The cabin window you throw your grenade in from Resident Evil 4 remake.

Right after the village fight, you'll enter the farm area. A breeze in the original game, you must explore it more thoroughly this time as you need a Wooden Cog to progress. Normally the big cabin here is locked, and you must first climb up one of the towers to get in.

However, with a grenade, you won't have to. To the right of the cabin is an open window, and if you throw a grenade in, it should break the lock on the other side, and you can enter. You might not have a spare grenade, as they're incredibly helpful in the village fight, but it's worth saving one for this sweet skip.

8 🎐 Chainsaw Sisters Ski🤪p

Resident Evil 4 remake's Chainsaw Sisters.

A couple of bosses can be dispatched quite easily using the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mine rounds from the Bolt Thrower. These rounds are hard to come by, but if you keep them all, you should 🃏have enough to do this skip. Beforeไ grabbing the crank to activate the boss fight, put five mine rounds on the light bulb next to it.

Make sure to put them on the side they're coming from, as not doing that makes this skip far less consistent. After you've done that and triggered the cutscene, the sisters should immediately explode and die. You'll still have to deal with the villagers on your way out, but this makes the section far easier.

7 Bitores Mendez Skip ♒

The mine rounds strike again, as they'll make Bitores Mendez quite easy. First, your Bolt Thrower will need to be maxed out for this to work, so it might be best to try it in New Game Plus. Get as close as possible to the spot where the Mendez cutscene triggers, but don't activate it yet. Put four mines in the center of the ground area where Mendez will be in the fight, and put six mines directly above that, up high on the wooden plank.

As the fight starts, blast him with shotgun rounds so he backs up into the explosives. This will start the second phase. He'll move up high and get immediately blasted by the mines and die. It's a bit complicated, but it's the best way to kill him without using bonus weapons.

6 🎀 Cannon Skip

Shooting through the window to do the cannon skip in Resident Evil 4 remake.

Just like the classic game, you'll need the power of a cannon to get past the first major area of the castle. Normally, you're supposed to head up above the location of it and drop down to raise the cannon.

The thing is, though, you can simply shoot the ball from near the walkway where the checkpoint is to raise it immediately. It's one of those skips that are difficult to find but yet simple enough that they're probably intended by the developers. It's sort of a reward for observant players and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:very useful for S+ ranks.

5 Gate Skip

The blocked gate needed to do the gate skip in Resident Evil 4 remake.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:In Chapter Eight, there's a huge outside castle area that takes up a significant portion of the level. In the first building, you head into. You're supposed to drop down into several passageways to get to the second one. However, the grenade strikes back. Simply clear out the first building, and on the second floor, there is a blocked gateway heading to the next one.

Throw a grenade towards the right of that blocked gate, and it should destroy the ball, opening it up. This saves a bunch of time. It's worthwhile to do this skip every playthrough because that lower area can seriously mess you up with the number of enemies there.

4 Walkway Skip 𝄹

The grenade exploding during the walkway skip in Resident Evil 4 remake.

Later on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in Chapter Nine, you'll face this encounter where the walkway you're on lowers, and you must battle hordes of enemies and a red zealot. The grenade, once again, helps out here, but it's even easier this time. Once you get close to halfway across the walkway, throw a grenade to the spot where the lever is, and then continue on.

That's all you have to do, as the grenade doesn't even need to kill anything. Somehow the grenade's explosion just messes up the game's scripting, and the walkway won't lower. This makes the part super short and simple, but do make sure to kill the zealots ambushing you on your way out.

3 🔴 Mines Skip ꦰ

The area where you need to use the dynamite in Resident Evil 4 remake.

This is another one that's definitely intended because it's actually a skip from the original. In the classic game's mine section, instead of destroying the boulder with dynamite, you can blast it with a Rocket Launcher and move on. Since the price of a rocket is so cheap, many folks did this.

The remake brings back the exact same skip, although the price of a rocket is much higher, especially in Hardcore mode. This is one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:those awesome hidden details that highlight the developers' love and care for the original when making this remake.

2 𝐆 Wrecking Ball Skip

leon kennedy watches ashley graham operate a crane with a wrecking ball in resident evil 4 remake

One of the toughest sections in the whole game has to be the wrecking ball fight. It's super long and has you facing off against waves of enemies. This encounter is brutal on harder modes, but thankfully you can skip almost all of it. With two heavy grenades, throw them toward the damaged wall, and when Ashley first strikes with the wrecking ball, it should collapse.

You should have at least two heavy grenades at this point, which makes this convenient to do. Watch out for the remaining enemies, though; they'll still follow you when you leave to turn on the ramp. There is a way to clip through the door leading to the ramp, but it's very precise and requires a lot of practice.

1 AA Gun Skip ꦕ 🧸

The AA gun from near the end of Resident Evil 4 remake.

When Mike helps you out in Chapter 15, you'll eventually need to destroy an AA gun to progress. You're supposed to get to this high position with a turret and blast it to smithereens, but a grenade once again saves the day.

Once the initial cutscene ends, get close to the building and throw two heavy grenades up high onto the gun. This should destroy it, and you'll be able to move on. The entire section with Mike is already really tough, so this large skip helps out a ton.
