If you enter the Losomn area in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Remnant 2 and start at the Beatific Palace, you'll eventually be able to open the main door and get a choice between two final bosses. While their attack pattern is very similar, you'll still have a harder time fighting Faerin since he has some extra attacks.
Before you can get to the battle, you'll have to defeat multiple mini-bosses and plenty of elites and normal mobs. The story isn't impacted by who you choose to fight, but the final drops differ and you won't get the same things from them apart from the Segment.
Where To Find Faerin
If you've started at the required palace entrance, you'll first have to take the elevator down and find one mask and a quill. This quill will let you complete different doors in the castle and let you head over to the town areas in Losomn. In these areas, you'll eventually have to defeat a boss called Gwendil.
This will lead to you coming back to the palace, except the color will be much darker this time. The name of the palace will also be Malefic instead of Beatific. Here, you'll find the second mask that can be used on the circular platform in front of the main door, which then leads you to the final boss room.
You'll only find Faerin if you enter the boss room when you're in the Malefic part of the castle.
You can change between the two types of castles by us🤡ing the lever on the same circ🌳ular platform.
How To Defeat Faerin
You'll deal damage to Faerin based on your weapon's attack power no matter where you hit him, but the most damage will be dealt when your shot connects to his head. Of course, you won't be able to use a Melee weapon to do this since the boss is quite tall, which forces you to use one of your ranged weapons.
When you attack Faerin's weak spot, you'll see the damage in red, signifying the perfect hit. Faerin has quite a lot of agility, which makes it hard to hit him. Thankfully, the battleground is also very breathable, and the mobility restrictions from Faerin's attacks are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:lesser than Faelin's.
Once you defeat Faerin, you'll get an item called Melded Hilt apart from the segment, which can be used by McCabe to form a Melee weapon called Godsplitter with its own unique mod. You can also talk to Faelin in the Beatific Gallery to get Faelin's Sigil ring.
Faerin Attack Pattern
Much like its Beatific counterpart, Faerin also features three phases, and he switches to the next phase when his health drops below 50 and 25 percent. Here are all the attacks you 🌠can expect from him during each phase:
First Phase
During the first phase, Faerin is equally good at both short and long ranges. If the boss is close to you, he'll perform sword slashes that can go up to four times in a row. Sometimes, he can also take his sword above his head and perform a charged attack, which is quite hard to dodge since it's not intuitive.
If the boss is too far, he can either summon some orbs or place a white aura around your character that drags you to him. If he summons white orbs, they can either be stationary on the field or get placed on Faerin's shoulders and move around with him. These orbs lose health whenever they shoot a projectile.
The easiest way to fight against these orbs is by dodging the first projectile and then shooting them once.
Sometimes, the boss can also spawn groups of four orbs at random places. These orbs shoot projectiles on both sides of the field, but you'll be okay if you place yourself between the groups.
Second Phase
When the boss reaches half health, he'll surround himself in a white aura for a few seconds which makes him invulnerable. During this, he summons a bunch of giant swords in the sky that drop down and deal AoE damage after a bit. To dodge this initial attack, simplyꦍ stand close to the entrance door.
After that, the boss keeps performing all the attacks from the first phase while also slamming the swords on the ground randomly. Keep an eye on the swords arಌound you and get away if one of them starts rising in the air.
Third Phase
In the final phase, Faerin keeps going into an invulnerable state and summoning swords at random locations in the sky. These swords can't be dodged simply by standing in a particular place. Moreover, the boss comes out of invulnerability and performs one attack that can deal a lot of damage if you're hit.
During this, keep your eyes on the swords while trying to listen to the audio. There's a distinct cue whenever the boss is about to attack, giving you time to dodge. He can also sumꦏmon a small white orb fie🃏ld in the sky that prevents you from moving to a certain area.
Try to deal damage to the boss after dodging his attack and before he goes back into the white cloud state.
