Striped Skunk Locations
New Austin
- You won’t find skunks en masse anywhere across the American West, but certainly not in New Austin. That being said, Striped Skunks spread out all over the state’s Gaptooth Ridge and Rio Bravo regions. You won’t find them much north of Tumbleweed, but there are a few that meander up to the state’s northern border and around Ratherskeller Fork.
- Over in Hennigan’s Stead, on the eastern side of the state, Striped Skunks can sometimes be found hanging around the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cow paddocks on the western end of the MacFarlane’s Ranch property.
- There is also a tiny population that keeps near the water around Stillwater Creek, Thieve’s Landing, and the island between there and Quaker’s Cove.
West Elizabeth
- Continuing in that direction, a more condensed population of Striped Skunk inhabits the land southwest of Blackwater.
- Striped Skunks are more common in the Tall Trees region in the west of the state. You can find them meandering up and down this forested area, following the Lower Montana River up to the Aurora Basin and crossing the border into the Great Plains.
- This widespread habitat continues up into the Big Valley region, past the Upper Montana River, from Owanjila over to the Dakota River, and all the way to the northern reaches of the state. However, they’re not likely to attempt a trek of Mount Shann.

Ambardino
- Cumberland Forest is the best location for hunting skunks up in Ambardino. You will find them anywhere within the woodlands’ shaded borders.
- Cattail Pond, across the river west of Valentine, is a favorite watering hole for Striped Skunk.
- They are known to scuffle along the Dakota River for a way to the northeast as well.
- Though not nearly as abundant, you may also find a small population of skunks up north on the far shore of Lake Isabella.
- You might try your luck up on the western edge of the Calumet Ravine or slightly south on the eastern side of Donner Falls.

Passing through the Grizzlies East on your way to New Hanover, you may stop to check a few other minor habitats.
- Striped Skunks have been spotted along the train tracks north of O’Creagh’s Run.
- They also can be found on the northeastern bank of O’Creagh’s Run.
- Moonstone Pond is also a popular watering hole for these stinky mammals.
New Hanover
- The Roanoke Ridge region of New Hanover is by far the best Striped Skunk hunting grounds in RDR2. There’s no reason to specify; you will undoubtedly find a few skunks just by traveling up and down the eastern side of the state. This bustling skunk habitat spans as far west as Emerald Ranch before dispersing toward the state borders.
- The southern Heartlands is another good area to scope out. Skunks can be found across the fields, from the Lemoyne border, over around Flatneck Station, and up around Caliban’s Seat. The population continues to span up in and around Valentine and along the Ambardino border.
Lemoyne
- The Scarlett Meadows in the western regions of Lemoyne is also littered with skunks. Again, you shouldn’t have an issue finding them just by riding through the region, though they do seem prone to the shores along Flat Iron Lake, Bolger Glade, and Ring Neck Creek. They know well enough to keep off of the Braidwaith Manor and Calliga Hall territories, though.
- You may also find a light population of Striped Skunk in the Bayou Nwa, specifically west of Lakay and along the Kamassa River north of Calliga Hall.
