The news broke on February 11, 2022 that employees at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Raven Software were forced to attend a mandatory meeting earlier in the week which included misleading information about unionization. This comes in the wake of a long struggle with management on the part of workers at the company🌳.

While the actual content of the meeting has not been made public, the recently formed 🌺Game Workers Alliance issued a shortly afterwards whic𓄧h referred to the presentation as “anti-union propaganda.” Stemming from the strike earlier this year by workers in its quality assurance department, the Game Workers Alliance represents many of the people currently employed by Raven Software.

“Yesterday, a captive aud༒ience meeting was held at Raven Software in which anti-union propaganda was given to the workers,” the statement points out. “As such, the Game Workers Allian💯ce would like to address some of the questions that may arise about unionization.”

The statement goes on to address a number of concerns which resulted from the misinformation given out at the meeting before noting that “leadership asked questions about all the ba🔯d things a union could do.” The statement then notes how management &ldquo🌳;failed to ask what good things a union could do.”

The statement remarks that a union could “allow us to negotiate work-from-home policies without risking pay or benefits, protect from termination without cause, allow for greater paid-time-off allowances and a༒ccrual rates, ensure greater disability accommodations, decrease crunch and ensure that worke⛄rs are fairly compensated for overtime, improve benefits including employer-provided healthcare, ensure easier access to promotions, establish more equitable and diverse hiring practices, establish protections against sexual harassment past established federal requirements,” and “bring democracy to the workplace through collective bargaining.”

“We t🌳he workers have listened t🙈o the needs of our coworkers and are standing together in solidarity through the unionization process,” the statement reads. “We are disappointed to hear anti-union propaganda after months of being told by leadership that transparency and communication would improve. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our coworkers and are ready to take a seat around the negotiating table, together, in order to positively shape our shared working conditions.”

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Activision Blizzard King ha🤪s been making the news for months over its union busting tactics. Raven Software is currently a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard King. The latest development is that management at the company seems to have created an account which posts misinformation related to unionization on Slack. “In out of touch executive news, Activision Blizzard King leadership created a Slack account named ABK Facts and this account is used to post union busting rhetoric in the ABK Allyship channel,” former quality assurance worker and union organizer at Activision Blizzard King Jessica Gonzalez .

The channel was made “so that we cloud have a safe space to discuss marginalized groups, harassment and discrimination,” Gonzalez remarks. “They used an anti-union sock puppet account to post in that space.” When employees responded badly to this move, the person behind the posts “basically said lol yeah whatever, we're still posting here.”
