Summary
- The PS5 Pro has been an open secret for quite some time now, but we've never seen what it will look like.
- That's just changed thanks to a reliable leaker and insider, who was shown an image and has sketched the design.
- The big takeaway from the design is that the PS5 Pro might not include a disc drive by default.
A reliable leaker has shared a sketch of the s design, giving us a first look at the long-rumoured console upgrade and suggesting it doesn't have a disc drive.
One of the worst-kept secrets in the gaming industry over the past few years is that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sony is working on a𒅌n upgraded model of the PS5, which many assumed would be called the PS5 Pro to go along with the naming convention the PlayStation 4 introduced with its mid-generation upgrade. We've heard a ton about the PS5 Pro over the past few years, but it's something that Sony is still yet to announce.

PS5 Pro Already🤪 Feels Like A𓄧 Box Of Empty Promises
I can't think of many reasons for a ♛new console to exist right now.
Although most leakers previously sugge♚ste🐭d that the PS5 Pro would be launching at some point this year, that looked less and less likelyꦕ as we get closer to the end of the year. A recent rumour hinted that a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reveal and release was 💖sti﷽ll coming for 2024, something that now seems to be the case since the firs♒t leaked image of the console has been revဣealed.
PS5 Pro Might Not Have A Disc Drive
Yesterday on Twitter, for a "new version of one hardware you know very well" was coming, which many thought would be the PS5 Pro. That was in fact the ⛄case, of it that shows off how it looks on Dealabs.
It was also confirmed that the upgraded model of the PS5 will be called the PS5 Pro. No surpr🌸ises there.
At first glance, it appears to just be an bigger version of the PS5 we all know and love but with a bit of a sleeker design that resembles the Slim model. The same front panel on the PS5 slim is present, although the three black stripes in the middle of▨ the𓂃 PS5 have been removed from the Pro model for some reason.
Unfortunately, the leaked design seems to indicate that a disc drive isn't included with the PS5 Pro. The image could potentially be showing the digital version of the console, but billbil_kun suggests that it could be a commercial decision to reduce costs, and something that players would need to change with their own disc drive.
That's a bit of a shame, but we'll have to wait for more details on the console to be 100 percent sure. That doesn't seem like it's going to be far away, though, as billbil_kun notes that they expect an announcement in the "first half of September 2024".
