Although most g𓄧ames ar꧅e linear platformers with fairly simplistic levels, changes all of that as a Metroidvania with a massive world to uncover.
If you're new to the genre, that world can seem pretty daunting at times, especially as it opens up more and more as you progress through the main story and unlock new areas. Luckily, there's a way to uncover the map to make things a little easier as you go hunting for secrets and see what 🐬else you have left to explore in th🌜e game.

P🌺ri🔯nce Of Persia: The Lost Crown - How To Unlock Every Athra Surge
To beat Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you're going to nee🦋d Sargon's powerful Athra Surges. Here's where to find them all.
How To Uncover The Map
The easiest and most simple way to uncover the map in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is to simply explore the world around you and c🧸lear the fog naturally. Every new path you take will clear up whatever section of the map you're in, so if you just look around the world as yꦡou play through the main quest, you'll see the map naturally start to unfold.
There are times when it's not that simple, though, especially with hidden entrances to areas and specific skills needed to access parts of the world. That's where Fariba comes in. Fariba is an NPC that Sargon first encounters early on in his visit to Mount Qaf. Beyond her appearance in the Haven, she can be found in set locations throughout each main area of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and running into her will give you the option to buy a map for 50 Time Crystals.
That's an extremely cheap price, so you should never be worried about not having enough Timeꦓ Crystals.
Once you buy the map from Fariba, whichever location you're currently in will have all of the fog surrounding it uncovered, letting you know what rooms and pathways are left to be explored. To get to that point, though, you're going 🅘to need to find Fariba in each area first. Here's where she can be found.
Lower City
To find Fariba in the Lower City, head to the big statue near the Haven area that you'll encounter very early on in the game. Climb up one level (which won't require any double jumps or time powers) and then immediately head to the right where Sargon is standing on the map above. You'll find Fariba and the Lower Cit🗹y map here.
Hyrcanian Forest
To find Fariba in the Hyrcanian Forest, head to the area where Sargon is standing on the map above and you'll find a small ruin area. Climb up it to encounter Fariba and buy the map from her. Fariba's location here is close to two Wak Wak trees and the nearest fast-travel point is the "Forest Ruins" area above.
The Depths
To find Fariba in The Depths, head to the point marked on the map above, where Sargon is standing. When you get here, you'll find an elevator that can be ridden up and down. Ride the elevator down and then use the Shadow of the Simurgh Time Power to place a version of yourself standing on the elevator. Then, ride the elevator up and snap back to where you placed the time clone to find yourself at the bottom of the elevator shaft, where you can talk ꦑto Fariba and get the map for The Depths.
Sacred Archives
In order to find Fariba in the Sacred Archives, you'll need to head to the area marked on the map above, which is closest to the Sacred Archives' fast-travel point. From that area, make your way over to the staircases that change direction depending on which way you're facing, and keep heading to the right. Ride the elevator down and then make your way up using Clairvoyance to create platforms you can jump from. Keep heading up and you'll find Fariba next to a gate you🍒 can now unloc🎀k using a switch.
Temple Of Knowledge
If you're hunting these map pieces in a row, then the Temple of Knowledge should be next on your list since it's right near the Sacred Archives. Climb your way up to the nearby Wak Wak tree by using Clairvoyance. Then, summon the elevator and use Clairvoyance to reach it. Make it start riding up and then jump off when you see more Clairvoyance platforms. Go to the left and you'll find Fariba.
Catacombs
The next Fariba location is a fairly easy one to find. Head to the area of the Catacombs shown above, which is right next to the Catacombs fast-travel point. Head into the next room on the right and go to the middle section. Kill the worm creature on the right and it turns into a door which you can then walk through.ꦆ You'll find Fariba sitting there, ready to offer you a map.
Soma Tree
To find Fariba at the Soma Tree, go to the location marked on the map above, which is right near a Wak Wak tree. Go to the right of that tree and jump up to the platform 𒈔and you'll see Fariba, who you can then buy the map off of.
Sunken Harbour
Fariba's location at the Sunken Harbour is fairly easy to find. Head to the right from the Pirate Village fast-travel point and then jump down the chasm with a bunch of hanging platforms. Then, head to the left as marked on the map above and use your Chakram to raise the platform up to where Fariba is.
Pit Of Eternal Sands
One of the easiest places to find Fariba in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is in the Pit of Eternal Sands. Head to the area marked on the map above, which is right next to the Sentinel's Road fast-travel point, and then start making your way down. After a little bit, you'll findℱ Fariba sitting on a carpet, just like always.
Raging Sea
To find Fariba's location in the Raging Sea, head to the location marked above, which is about halfway through the area and past The Holds fast-travel point. Then head to the next Wak Wak tree. Once here, make your way up through a platforming challenge that involves timing jumps to jellyfish stings, an🐷d you'll find🎐 yourself in another ship. Fariba will be here and let you buy this fairly pointless map piece.
Upper City
As the Upper City is one of the last locations you're going to visit in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, this Fariba location is likely one of the last you'll find too. To get here, go right to the top of the Upper City, near where the gates are shut until you take on the final quest. Just one floor below that and to the right is where Fariba will be sitting. It's als✃o right above one⭕ of the area's Wak Wak trees.
Tower Of Silence
To find Fariba in one of the final areas of the game, head to where we've marked on the map above, which can easily be reached by using the Tomb Entrance fast-travel point and then working your way down, or just looking at the map as you explore the Tower of Silence until you see the same structures pictured above. While on the lowest level, use your Fabric of Time ability near the right edge and you'll zip over to where Fariba is.
The Lighthouse
To find one of the most pointless map pieces in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you're going to need to find The Lighthouse area. Thankfully, we've already written a guide on how to get here, as it's part of the process of reaching the secret G🤪host Ship area, which means starting at the Soma Tree fast-travel point, and then using your Fabric of Time Time Power to make your way to the right until you reach the Lighthouse. While here, make your way up the tower using your Dimensional Claw and Fabric of Time, and Fa⭕riba will be sitting at the top waiting for you.
Old Royal Road
To reach this Fariba location, head over to where Sargon is standing on the map shown above, which is just to the left of the Upper City. To get here, you'll need to double jump up to the pole and then use the upgraded Chakram to teleport through the gate. You'll see Fariba sitting on a carpet to🦹 the left.
