Sargon's main quest in is a perilous one that sees him trying to fight time itself in order to save a friend and uncover the mysteries of a land stuck in time. As important as that quest is, though, that's not all you'll be doing during your visit to Mount Qaf, as there are numerous side quests to tak🐠e on and people to help out.

One such side quest is called The Treasure Of The Seven Seas, which sees Sargon encountering a pirate captain who needs to be reunited with his trusty-treasure-finding parrot. It's one of the game's quickest side quests once you know what you're doing, ❀but getting to that point isn't so easy. That's where we come in.

How To Start The Treasure Of The Seven Seas Quest

To begin the Treasure of the Seven Seas side quest, you'll need to make your way over to the Sunken Harbour section of the map, which is an unmissable area that you'll need to visit to eventually take on Orod. Head to the section shown on the map above and head inside the ship to talk to its captain, who is simply called "Pirate Captain".

The Pirate Captai🌜n will then ask Sargon if he can reun🎀ite him with his treasure-hunting parrot, which will begin the Treasure of the Seven Seas side quest.

How To Find The Parrot

Although finding the parrot might seem like a tall order at first considering how little guidance the game gives you as to his location, he's actually incredibly easy to find. Once you've finished talking to the Pirate Captain simply head to the rightꦆ and you'll find yourself in a new room that's full of tr🐈aps.

That's right, despite the Pirate Captain making it clear how much he needs his feathered companion, he apparently couldn't be bothered to check just one room to the right of him to find him. Don't get too cocky just yet, though, as you'll need to take on a challenging platforming gauntlet in order to reach the bird, and then make your way back to the Pirate Captain unscathed to finish t🤪he que🐼st.

In order to get past this platforming gauntlet, you're going to need to have unlocked the Shadow of the Simurgh and Gravity Wings Time Powers, which you should already have done or be close to 🎐doing by the time you reach this part of the game. Once you've got these po🦩wers, come back to this room, and then carefully make your way across the platforms.

The key to getting through this part is to take it slowly and jump from wall to wall as carefully as possible, using the dash to clear long distances and then carefully timing your wall jumps to reach the end of the area. Try to be sparing with your double jump and only use it to correct yourself if you miss a jump, as using it at the wrong time 𝔍will send you straight int🔯o the spikes.

As you can see from my attempt in the video above, your platforming doesn't ꧋have to be pixel-perfect, as you can actually take a few hits from the spikes on the platforms you jump of🔯f. Just don't run straight into one or fall into the pit below and you'll be fine.

Once you find the parrot on the other end of the room, touch him and he'll start following you. You then need to make your way back the way you came without dying to make sure the parrot follows you all the way. Again, just take it slow and don't use the double jump if you 🍰can help it. It might take a few tries, but eventually, you'll bring the parrot back to the Pirate Capt♋ain and complete the quest.

What Happens Once You Finish The Quest

Once you've brought the parrot back to the Pirate Captain in the other room, Sargon will be awarded a number of items for his troubles, including 1,000 Time Crystals and a Xerses that can be used when upgrading Amulets. It's not much in the grand scheme of things, but it's a pretty quick si🐟de quest, so it's well worth doing.

That's not all, though. After speaking to the Pirate Captain, a number of "X" symbols will be added to your map. As the old saying "X marks the spot" goes, these crosses indicate some hidden treasures that Sargon can then go and collect. You🦂 might have already found so🍌me of these on your adventures in Mount Qaf, but it's a nice bonus for finishing the quest.

Fun fact: the parrot who you find in this quest is actually the same one that can join Sargon if you equip the Prosperity Bird Amulet that comes with the deluxe edition of the game. He'll also 𝕴help you find treasure, so he's a helpful companion to have.
