It feels more like a tertiary objective that you're passively unlocking by hitting jars.

Some of the jars are only found after tough and fun platforming challenges, but most of the ones you'll find will follow this process: you either see them or find a dead-end that is blocked by something you can't pass through yet, you mark them on your map with a Memory, you come back when you have the necessary Time-Power.

A Disappointing Conclusion

This is an NPC that you'll have to keep finding in very specific places until you come to a conclusion to the quest, and quite a good reward. It starts excitingly, too. Yet, unlike the FromSoftware questlines that fans of the series know and love, The Moon Gatherer leads to basically nowhere. The NPC just exclaims "It is done!" and says that he will look for a spot to stargaze. The end.

The Dark Side Of Mount Qaf

This boar is probably familiar to you, if you've been to the Hyrcanian Forest. He is the Undead version of Erlik, the boar boss. After you kill Erlik, you'll find a pile of bones, which Sargon supposes to be what's left of the Old Woman's children. Among them, you also find a slightly creepy nursery rhyme. When you exit the boss room, the quest giver will be waiting for you, with their final reveal: they were never an Old Woman, but actually one of The Depths' monsters. The questline comes to a conclusion, and one that is anything but forgettable.

Platforming Goodness

This is a short, yet very enjoyable side quest in The Lost Crown. The Pirate Captain gives you an exciting backstory, and sends you away with the ⛎promise of a good reward.

It is implied that she is the brains behind most of the deadly traps you'll encounter in your journey, which is a great lore tidbit. Finding all the chests unlocks a final puzzle, which looks cool despite being quite easy. Finishing this puzzle gives you access to an entirely new area filled with lore-focused collectibles. A completionist's dream.

2 👍 The Lost Warriors

A Combat-Enthusiast's Dream

Choosing the best side quest in Prince of Persia is incredibly tough, and it really comes down to what part of the game you prefer.
