However, this treasure hunt quest is difficult in the same way the Talos Smuggling Ring quest is also challenging. It requires you to know exactly where to go and what you're looking for, and with so many different hidden spots and places to discover on the station, it's guaranteed to get frustrating. On top of that, you need actually follow each map to a set location. This guide will show you the exact way to the final reward.
How To Start The Treasure Hunt Quest In Prey
This quest can only be started once you make your way to the Crew Quarters, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:but beware of the Nightmare that sౠpawns. You'll first need to unlock the Arboretum area after going through the G.U.T.S. maintenance tunnel. Once in Crew Quarters, head to the Crew Cabins B area and find Abigail Foy's room. You'll need a keycard to enter, which can be found in the Recreational Room of the Crew Quarters.
Inspecting her private terminal will reveal that she's been working on a treasure hunt for her friends. Each treasure hunt map has a specific numeral code, which when entered into her terminal will unlock a special reward at the end. With that, it's time for Morgan Yu to go hunting.
- Note: Simply inputting the code into the terminal without finding the treasure maps will not get you the maximum reward, and you'll actually get a penalty.
Where To Find Every Treasure Map
There are four treasure maps to find. Two of them are straightforward to find inside the Crew Quarters, but the other two will be elsewhere and slightly more difficult. Each map also leads to a specific spot where their respective number for the fin꧂al code can be found.
Map One: Arboretum - Zachary West
As soon as you enter the Arboretum, find the grav shaft lift that takes you down to the Deep Storage entrance. The main quest will likely take you here early on. Zachary's body is just in front of the Deep Storage doors, so loot his corpse for the treasure map.
To solve his map, travel to Life Support and take the grav shaft lift downstairs. Walk down the main corridor and turn left towards the Water Treatment facility. You need to defeat the Technopath first before exploring the area further. In the back left of the room next to the giant tank is the large "3" on the wall, which will unlock one of the numbers.
Map Two: Deep Storage - Danielle Sho
The main quest will lead you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:inside the Deep Storage naturally. Danielle's office is inside this area, on the second floor which can be accessed by climbing up to the pipes and eventually unlocking the stairwell door where the Phantom is lurking. The middle terminal in her office has the treasure map as a file, which can be downloaded.
This map leads you inside the Fuel Storage, which is located close to the Shuttle Bay. The simplest way to get here is to get inside the G.U.T.S. maintenance tunnel and check the signs on the walls that lead you towards the Shuttle Bay. Enter the area and follow the metallic walkway to a sealed door. Jump across towards the door, and on its right side you should spot the number "1".
Map Three: Crew Quarters - Emma Beatty
Emma Beatty's body is located inside the fitness center in the Crew Quarters. Make sure to grab the code for this area from the front desk's terminal. Once you enter the fitness center, simply turn right and follow the short hallway towards the pool until you come across two bodies. The map is in the form of a small note on her body.
In order to solve the map you need to get to the Cargo Bay. Starting from the room where you placed turrets in front of the Cargo Bay B door, walk towards the loading bay near the G.U.T.S. entrance by keeping right. The number "5" is painted on the wall right of the door at the end of the a𓃲rea.
Map Four: Crew Quarters - Elias Black
No doubt the easiest map to find, Elias' map is found next to his character sheet in the upstairs area of the Recreational Room inside the Crew Quarters. When you♛ first enter, beware of the Poltergeist that haunts the area, as well as any mind-controlled humans.
His treasure is also the easiest to find. From the entrance of the Crew Quarters, simply head left up the stairs to the room with the recycler. As soon as you enter, you'll notice the number "6" painted on the wall right in front of you.
How To Finish The Treasure Hunt Quest
Now that you have all the numbers needed to complete the code and have actually gathered them properly, head back to the Crew Quarters and to Abigail Foy's private terminal and punch in the code using the numbers you found. It doesn't matter in what order the numbers are put in, but the combinations 1365 and 3156 are the most commonly accepted.
