You should pick Mamoswine when you need a beefier frontline to protect your carries and kick off skirmishes. Along w♍ith Crus𝐆tle, it’s perhaps the most obvious tank, but there are also a lot of nuances in how you adapt to a game.
If you want a Pokemon to soak up damage, go with Mamoswine. It’s always a pretty safe choice, the definition of one of those ‘seven-out-of-ten’ types that ಞprove to be consistent all the time. If you’re being forced into the role especially, you can’t really go wrong here.
Mamoswine: Tank Build
This build is all about dealing with the pressure front and center, so that your carries can do the business.
Mamoswine is best paired with more ranged Attackers, even better if they also bring crowd control and dis💞ruptio🦄n to the table.

- High Horsepower
In most builds, High Horsepower is going to be a key move. It’s a gap closer, pushes enemies, and൲ disables them — a really potent combo all in one.
When you add Icicle Crash to the mix, with its debilitating slow, and follow up with Mammoth Mash, you’ll wreck enemy teams easily.
Items
Standard tank items include the Focus Band and Buddy Barrier, but you can be flexible with the final choice.
Score Shield is useful, while Muscle Band and Weakness Policy also work. Eject Button is your go-to Battle Item.
Mamoswine: Engage Build
If you want to play a style that’s more aggressive, aiding your teammates with engage rather than soaking up damage, then this is the one for you. It’s more fun to play, but slightly more technical, so you’ll need to be more attentive to the map and where the enemy is.

You could choose any of Mamoswine’s moves and be a good initiator. However, being able to throw enemy Pokemon with Ice Fang, stunning themও in the process, is a great way to kick off a teamfight.
Group the enemy team up with Earthquake, and let your carries rip through them.

Focus Band and Buddy Barrier are a must, and then Muscle Band or Weakness Policy as your third item depending on whether you want t⛎o be tanking hits as well.
