It uses ওranged attacks, meaning it’s great for the side lanes where you can pair up with a mܫore beefy or utility-focused Pokemon. Stay back, stay safe, and just do your thing for the win.
While Duraludon comes with high attack and great range, it’s very, very fragile and very immobile. It has very low base HP and middling defensive stats, but 🔴it does have a significant redeeming factor — natural lifesteal. This peaks at 25%, but you’ll👍 get as much as 15% as early as level 10.
When To Pick Duraludon
This one is as simple as getting hold of a key role should your team not be overloaded with Attackers. Duraludon won’t be anywhere near as effective if three or four of you are battling🌊 for resources, as it really needs those levels to scale up to its max potential.
It’s even better if you’re paired with a Pokemon that can completely shield you, such as Snorღlax or Mr. Mime. If the enemy manages to get to the backline, you’re as good as gone — but if you&rsq𝓰uo;re well protected, you’ll prove to be a highly effective team member. You can even switch out moves pretty interchangeably with the right items, giving you a high degree of flexibility.
Duraludon: Dragon Build
This build leans heavily into the alloy dragon description, but it’s one with a higher skill ceiling than most. You’ll need to be well protected, but still be 🍎close enough to the frontline for the combo to be effective. You’ll be exposed with this combo, but the payoff is worth it.
The reason for this is 🎃that Dragon Tail creates the space you need to follow up with Dragon Pulse. Shove enemies back while stepping back, before unleashing the devastating charged attack𝔍 to rip through foes. Drop Revolving Ruin afterwards for even more damage.
You’ll want to pick up Buddy Barrier for this, so that you have more sustain from your Unite Move, while Muscle Band adds to Duraludon’s physical damage. For the final item you can opt for Focus Band for sustain, Attack Weight for a more permanent damage boost, or Razor Claw for on-hit damage after a moಞve. Eject Button is a key counter to your immobility.
Duraludon: Cannon Build
This build offers a huge amount of dam💞age potential, for tearing through the e🔯nemy team while staying at a safe distance. It’s perhaps more of a risk than the Dragon Pulse build, but the rewards far outweigh that danger.
Again you’ll want to pick up Dragon Tail to 🍸set up the adequate distance, then follow up with Flash Cannon. This move has massive potential for seizing control of a lane, and could easily be the difference between winning and losing in the late gameꦛ, or securing a Zapdos.
For this build, swap out the Buddy Barrier from the Dragon Build for a Scope Lens, to ramp up Flash Cannon’s damage. Eject Button is still the go-to, but if you’re well protected then perhaps an X Attack ꦦis a better choice. The similarity in item builds affords a lot of flexibility in which build to choose — you could just go with the two🦹 bands and Scope Lens for either and decide on the fly.
