The various switching options in this deck will allow you to utilize different Comfeys each turn and switch🍎 between attackers as needed.

Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck Key Cards

This variation of the Lost Box deck focuses on using the Lost Zone engine to set up Mirage Gate, a beneficial Trainer Card allowing players to search for two different basic Energy cards and attach them to Pokemon in the field in any way. Then, using Supereffective Glasses and attackers of different Types, the Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck strives to deal up to three times the amount of damage for attacks.

Supereffective Glasses

Supereffective Glasses is the key card in the Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck. This Pokemon Tool card increases the damage done by attacks that apply Weakness. Typically, when an attack of a Pokemon applies Weakness, it then does 2x the damage. When Supereffective Glasses are attached, however, the applied Weakness does instead 3x the damage.

Because the focus of this deck is countering meta decks, Supereffective Glasses allows for Pokemon cards that may otherwise not b💃e viable to compete againꦆst powerful cards.

When attached to Tropius for instance, Solar Beam will apply 3🌄00 damage to Pokemon with a Weakness to Grass, such as many Dark-type Pokemon. This allows for Tropius to Knock Out a Roaring Moon ex with a single attack, even if an Ancient Booster Capsule or a Bravery Charm is attached.

Supereffective Glasses is affected by the Pokémon Tool rule, which allows only one Tool card to bᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe attached to a single Pokemon at a time. On the ideal first turn, you will have at least two Comfeys on the bench, with a method of switching either through an Item card or an Energy attachment. This will allow you to draw a total of fﷺour cards, keeping two and Lost Zoning the others.

Colress’s Experiment

In the Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck, Colress’s Experiment functions in a way similar to that of Comfey. However, this valuable Trainer Card allows you to see five cards total instead of Comfey’s t💟wo provided by its Flower Selecting Ability. Then, two of these cards will be placed in the ꧂Lost Zone.

This Supporter allows for the potential to have seven cards within the Lost Zone within a single turn. However, this feat can be tricky, as it req🅰uires four Flower Selecting Abilities to be used, a Lost Vacuum, as well as a ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚColress’s Experiment.

Mirage Gate

Once you have seven cards in the Lost Zone, you can play Mirage Gate. This will allow you to search your deck for up to two different Energies and attach them to your Pokemon in any way that you wish. This allows you to rapidly set up Pokemon. Plus, if you have a⛎n extra Energy leftover and a Comfey in the Active 🌄Spot, you may attach that Energy there and retreat if needed.

ꦿMirage Gate is an Item card. You may play as 🍰many Item cards, including additional Mirage Gate cards, as you would like each turn.

Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck Strategy

This variant of the Lost Box Deck functions in a way similar to other decks using the Lost Zone engine. Staring first or second can be viable in this deck, with each start offering different benefits.

If going first, y🐽ou will be able to use Comfey’s Flower Selecting right away, helping to rapidly stock your Lost Zone for turn two and beyond. However, without the ability to use essential Supporter cards, if your initial drawing does not include the cards you need, it can be difficult to get started.

Going first also often leaves a vulnerable Comfey in the Active Spot going into the next turn. If going second🃏, you will be able to use Supporter cards, as well as attack. However, you will lose out on an initial extra turn to Lost Zone cards to prepare your attackers.

In the following turns, the goal is to continue attacking while adding cards to the Lost Zone through Comfey’s Ability and Colress’s Experiment. When necessary, Lost Vacuum can also help achieve t💛he optimal number of cards here.

Because this deck forfeits the usual Sableye attacker, there is no need to get ten cards in the Lost Zone. Instead, by 𓆏your second (preferable) or third turn, you should ಞhave enough to use Mirage Gate.

This will allow you to begin to tailor your gameplay to the opponent’s deck, utilizing the Supereffective Glasses Tool card and type match-ups to apply as much as 3x the damage of an attack.

Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck Common Threats

Because the Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck does not play any protective Pokemon cards such as Manaphy or Jirachi, it is highly vulnerable to cards that can attack the Bench. This incl༒udes decks such as Rapid S𓆉trike and Iron Valiant.

This deck has many Pokemon with lower HP, which can easily✅ be Knocked Out by damage counters or Bench damage. Two Double Gunner Abilities from Inteleon VMAX paired with Radiant Alakazam’s Painꦆful Spoon Ability is enough to set up a Comfey for a potential Yoga Loop, posing a large threat to this deck.

Another notable threat for the Supereffective Glasses Lost Box Deck is Chien-Pao ex. This is because decks that can attack with high amounts of damage can easily Knock Out some of the strongest Pokemon in this deꦺck, like Roaring🙈 Moon ex.
