Getting my daughter to open my packs has had two effects on me🐼: firstly, it makes Pokemon Pocket a more communal, shared experience. That’s lovely. Secondly, it means I have to fake excitement for every card that appears, no matter whether it’s a 🐲brand new alt art or my 243rd Psyduck.
I don’t want her to be disappointed in her little pack, so I feign excitement for every ‘mon that appears. We say hello to each little critter and ꦅgive them a clap at the end, no matter their rarity or my personal feelings towards them. It’s nice to put a positive spin on what♚ is so often a disappointing experience, and it’s made me a lot less salty about never pulling a flipping Gengar.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island Pack Trick
I feel like this gave me some good karma when it came to opening my first of two Mythic꧋al Island packs. Either that or the game is being more generous again to pull lapsed players back in with ﷺgood pulls.
But the first pack my daughter opened for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mythical Island contained the immersive rare Celebi. The first pack. It wasn’t a god pack or anything, but I didn’t even know this card existed. It played one of those beautiful animations and I was beside myself. I’ll be honest, my daughter wasn’t bothered. She didn’t even care for the immersive painting zooming around a tranquil forest. I honestly beli🥂eve that she’d have been happier to see a regular Pikachu, because at least she’d 🐬recognise it.
My second pack was nothing special but my two Wonder Pick▨s rewarded me with Vaporeon and Aerodactyl ex, so I really can’t complain.
It’s a great feeling when you get some luck, but you can turn bad packs into good feelings, too. Sharing your hobbies with your kids, or anyone else around you, is by far the best way to experience them. If you don’t have kids, find one on the street, force your phone into their hand, and hope they don’t run off with it. You never know, it might just 🧸be that toddlers have the magic touch. They might net you that immersive rare. Or they might find nothing but commons in every pack for a month. Either way, you’ll feel glad you opened it.
