Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Extradimensional Crisis Is Set To Tear Up The Meta
Extradimensional Crisis is set to introduce ten new Ultra Beasts into Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, and while each of them could 🉐have utility in d𒁏ecks, there are three that really stand head and shoulders above the rest.
Guzzlord ex Is The Perfect Darkrai Accompaniment
Guzzlord ex is going to be an absolute menace in Pokemon TCG Pocket. It has a tanky 170 HP, and its Dark typing means it fits in nicely with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Darkrai ex. But while that alone makes it lookꦰ promising, its Grindcore move is going to cause chaos.
Off just two Colorless Energies, Guzzlord ex's Gꦦrindcore hits for 30 damage, which doesn't seem great, b𓆉ut it's the extra ability the attack has that is going to cause problems.
The offensive player can flip a coin until it lands on tails. For every head, they can discard an Energy from the opponent's Active Pokemon. It's like Beedrill ex on steroids, and it seems certain to slow opposition play to a𒅌 halt. Naturally, as the meta's biggest threat.
Kartana Is The Perfect Counter To The Above
While Guzzlord ex isജ going to cause problems, Extradimensional Crisi🐬s introduces a perfect counter: Kartana.
Another Basic Pokemon, Kartana, can hit for 40 damage from a single Grass-type Energy. Given that both Darkrai and Guzzlord ex are weak to Grass-type Pokemon, Kartana can hit them for 60 damage as soon as it gets an energy attached. By the time Guzzlord can attach the fou𒁃r Dark-type energy it needs to hit with its giant Tyrannical Hole attack, it could be dead.
Couple Kartana with the Leaf Cape tool, which gives 30 extra HP to Grass-type Pokemon, ওand Erika, and it will be a problem.
The Poison-Type Meta Could Be Back
This on𝕴e is a little less cut and dry than 🅰the other two, but Nihilego could reignite the Poison-type meta.
Its 'More Poison' ability means Pokemon that are poisoned take a bonus 10 damage between turns. It with Toxicroak, which, when combined with Nihilego, can deal 30 Poison damage each turn, leaving room for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paldean Clodsire ex to come in and sweep.
Nihilego doesn't even necessᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚarily need to be included in Poison-type decks, as it can occupy a spot on the bench while your active Pokemon has the♏ Poison Barb tool attached.
Ultra Beasts may not be the m🥀ost popular Pokemon in the game series, but they're certainly set to shake up Trading Card Game Pocket's meta.
