Fire Blast can do 130 damage for four Energy and will require you to 𒐪discard a Fire Energy from Centiskorch each time you use it. However, at the very least, this allows it to keep attacking consistently with its most powerful Move each turn rather than having to wait it out. So it’s an underrated choice that can still pack a punch and won’t give your opponent two points if they knock it out.

6 Salazzle

A Solid Attack For Two Energy

Salazzle may not be the toughe♎st Pokemon on the block, but at least it does a consistent 60 damage for two Energy. What really makes it better than some of the other Fire-types is that it only has a Retreat Cost of one.

This means you can potentially set up your Salazzle and start dealing damage. If you see your Salazzle’s HP start getting c🌊ritically low, you only need to discard one Energy to switch it out for a healthy Pokemon.
