Shrouded Fable is 2024’s entry into the special set series, with some beautiful artwork to collect and sꦿome neat cards to brew around.

Since Shrouded Fable is a special set, your ways of opening packs are somewhat limited. You can’t buy regular booster boxes and generally won’t find packs at stores. Instead, you have to purchase bundles and other collections to find packs, which help drive the price of the cards in the set even higher. A few cards have drifted up in price, while many others dropped as more players opened packs. We took a look at all the movers and shakers from the set to let you know what the top cards in the set are now and added a few that climbed in price a bit since release.

13 ♒ Munkidori ex 91/64 🌳

Special Illustration Rare - $16.49

The first of the Loyal Three is Munkidori ex’s Special Illustration Rare version. The artwork is fairly unique an⛄d has a similar chain motif as Pecharunt ex does. Given they’re all illustrated by the same artist, takuyoa, it makes sense that they have a similar feel.

While on its own Munkidori ex might not be super impressive, and even in꧃ a deck with the rest of the legendary crew, Munkidori might not be putting up a huge fight, but it is still a cool card to collect.

12 Okidogi ex 90/54 💎

Special Illustration Rare - $20.36

If you are looking to deal some damage with your next Pokemon TCG deck, you are going to want to pick up a few copies of Okidogi ex. The beefy ex Pokemon has a single energy attack that lets you tutor up two Basic D🍷arkness Energy and attach them to Okidogi ex, Poisoning it if you did so.

You can then go use Chain-Crazed on your next turn, dealingꦫ a staggering 260 damage if Okidogi🦹 ex is Poisoned. You ca🐼n use this with Pecharunt ex too to swap around your active Pokemon a bit and trigger Okidogi ex’s second attack without ever having to 💎waste a turn setting up.

11 🌄 Pe♔charunt ex 93/64

Special Illustration Rare - $23.45

The first Special Illustration Rare from Shrouded Fable is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the main le🐼gendary Pokemon from the 🍎set, that of Pecharunt ex. Based onꦚ the events of The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the Shrouded Fable name refers to the story of Pecharunt and the other legendary Pokemon who would become known as the✤ Loyal Three.

Pecharunt ex has a rather unique ability in Subjugating Chains. This effect lets you swap out a benched Darkness Pokemon, aside from another Pecharunt ex, and ܫmake it your active Pokemon once per turn. If you do, however,🐈 that Pokemon becomes poisoned. Pecharunt ex works with the other Loyal Three Pokemon, who are all Dark Type, and in the case of Okidogi ex, deals a ton of extra damage if it's poisoned.

10 Munkidori

Illustration Rare - $24.18

A beautiful illustration from artist Teeziro, the Illustration Rare Munkidori is not only a gorgeous card for any collector but also a solid competitive deck. The main use of Munkidori is with its Adrena-Brain ability, which lets you move three damage coutners from one of your Pokemon to one of your opponent's. All you have to do is get a Darkness Energy onto Munkid🐻ori to use it, shifting the dynamics of the board after each attack you take from your opponent.

With the rise of popularity for this card, that only means that the price is going to jump as welꦜl, with the Illustration Rare version quickly jumping up to the double digits. There's a lot of demand for higher rarity cards that are in popular decks, so you can expect this card to maintain its value for as long as its being played.

9 Dusknoir 70/64 🐼

Illustration Rare - $24.11

Now that the little Duskull has evolved, they either turned into more of a threat or are your newest 💝best buddies, judging by how they’re hanging outside your living room window. We’ll let you be the judge of that 🐷though.

In the meantime, you can play with﷽ the Dusknoir card, which has a very powerful ability you can put to good use. The Cursed Blast ability lets you put 13 damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokemonꦓ, benched or active. Doing so does automatically K.O. Dusknoir, but you can use this effect to take out a problematic Pokemon, nip a future problem in the bud, or even finish off a Pokemon you’ve already damaged a bit.

8 🧸 Basic Darkness Energ👍y

Hyper Rare - $32.67

Energy is at the core of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, being the primary resource you need to utilize attacks so if you're going to make a long🧸-term ☂investment in your cards you might as well go for the best you can find.

While this is an expensive alternative to picking up other higher rarity cards you might sue for a deck, it is one that will never get old or be subject to rotation as Energy𝕴 cards are always going to be available. Just make sure you are ready to invest since Hyper Rare cards regularly go for a fair amount of money per 💮card, and you'll likely need somewhere between eight to ten of whatever type of Energy card you're looking to pick up.

7 🍒 𝓀 Basic Metal Energy

Hyper Rare - $32.76

Much of what makes Hyper Rare cards like the Basic Metal Energy from Shrouded Fable so valuable is how rare they truly are. Whil﷽e possible to find a Hyper Rare in every pack the actual pull rate of any individual Hyper Rare card is a𓄧bout 1 in every 51 packs.

Making this process a fair bit more difficult is that Shrouded Fable is a special set, so there are no Booster Boxes to buy. Instead, if you're looking to snag yourself a fancy Basic Metal Energy you'll have 💧to purchase lots of smaller products like Trainer Boxes and six pack Booster Bundles.

6 𒅌 Dusk🎃ull 68/64

Illustration Rare - $38.30

Look at th꧂at cute little haunted face, with the single, glowing eye peeking out from ♑between the two skull-like sockets that make up Duskull’s face. The Illustration Rare version of Duskull is a great collector’s piece, not just because of its rarity, but because of the story that it tells with its evolved form, Dusknoir.

Is the Dusknoir hau𒊎nting you? Following you home in the middle of the night?🦄 Maybe just looking for a friendly face in the night? If you end up playing this card in a deck, you will find out since the evolved form turned out to be pretty good.

5 🐻 Houndoom 66/64

Illustration Rare - $39.84

This card is just cool, which is w﷽hy it has climbed up the list in value over other cards from 🌟Shrouded Fable. Houndoom is shown here running through darkened woods, surrounded by their pack of other Houndooms.

The greyscale of the piece is start and detailed, even with the limited color palette, and the streaks of red that flo🃏w from Houndoom’s red eyes just work to highli𓆏ght how cool and vicious this Pokemon can be. Houndoom’s second attack, Snarl, has a neat effect, causing your opponent’s next attack to deal 100 less damage. It might not save Houndoom from an incoming attack, but can mess with your opponent’s game plan a bit.

4 Cassiopeia 94/64 💫 💖

Special Illustration Rare - $47.24

On🐓e of the most popular characters from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Cassiopeia, better known as Penny when she’s not under the secret identity of the expert hacker, joins the game in Shrouded Fable, this time as a Special Illustration Rare card.

The Cassiopeia card lets yo🐬u search your deck for up to two cards and put them directly into your hand, but you 𓂃can only do it if Cassiopeia is the last card in your hand when you play it. Emptying your hand is relatively easy to do in the Pokemon TCG, so you can put this card to good use.
