The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Trading Card Game’s third-ever 🐓set, Fossil, released on October 10, 1999 and served as the debut for a variety of popular ꧑‘mons, including Gengar, Dragonite and, of course, the eponymous “fossil” Pokemon that gave the set its name.

Pokemon TCG: 11 Most Vaﷺl⛦uable Cards From Jungle
W🌊hile its cards don't reach the prices of Base Set Pokemon TCG cards, Jungle debuted 🦩a variety of new cards, many of which are still quite pricey.
Since Fossil introduced some of the most popular and interesting Pokemon, cards from Fossil actually hold a higꦛher median value than cards from the preceding set, Jungle. But what are the most valuable cards from that set, which was released nearly 25 years ago? Let’s grab our spelunking tools and find out!
The card prices quoted all come from Market Price History over the past calendar year and may fluctuate🐻 over time. Also, no First Edi🌌tions are included on this list even though they are extremely rare and, thus, wildly more expensive than the Unlimited versions of these cards.
10 ♊ Haunter – Holofoil 🅷
Market Price: $20.57
The second-ever printing ﷽of Haunter remains the only version of this popular ghost-type ‘mon that was ever printed as a rare. The question is: why was this first-stage evolution card given that prestigious rarity, as well as a holofoil treatment?
Perhaps the answer lies in its extre𓆉mely annoying Pokemon Power. Transparency causes you to flip a coin whenever an attack connects with Haunter. If heads, prevent all effects of that from Haunter. This precursor to the could certainly grind games to a halt, so that might be the reason for the rarity spike and high dollar value.
Or, more likely, people simply love Haunter and want to grab th🎉e only rare version of the card – hence the high price point.
9 Aeroꦏdactyl – Holofoil
Market Price: $21.06
Another powerf𒉰ul and somewhat oppressive Pokemon Power is 💝featured on the first-ever printing of Aerodactyl.
Pokemon Power: Prehistoric Power says that once Aerodactyl is on the field,๊ no more evolution cards can be played – which completely iced out major archetypes that were flooding the competitive scene at the time, such as Rain Dance and Damage Swap.
Beyond that, Aerodactyl’s attack that only required colorless energy meant that this ‘mon could be slotted into almost any deck to hose the major strategies of the time. Throw in some colorful and striking artwork from Kagemaru Himeno, and it's no wonder this card easily surpasses the $20 threshold today.
8 🥀 🌸 Kabutops – Holofoil
Market Price: $21.86
Are you a Dome Fossil devotee? Or a Helix Fossil fanatic? Seeing as only one of the final stages of those two 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon that come from those fossils in-game (Kabuto and Omanyte) received a Fossil expansion card at the rare rarity slot, it seems Wizards of the Coast didn't want to praise the Helix.
And you can’t blame them. Kabutops is a fascinatingly interested ‘mon with scythe-like blades at the ends of its arms, and it looks both menacing and powerful. The original Ken Sugimori artwork shows Kabutops in profile, furthering the aliꦍen and prehistoric vibes that Kabutops gives off.
7 Raichu – 🔯Holofoil
Market Price: $22.24
The second-ever printing of Raichu also holds a fairly price point, though it pales in comparison to its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Base Set brother. This is understandable, as the Mitsuhiro Arita artwork, which gives Raichu a deღcidedly bean-like shape, is not quite as clean as Sugimori’s work from the first printing.

Pokemon TCG: The 14 Most Valuable Cards In Temporal💦 Forces
The Pokemon TCG Temporal Forces set brings wi🐼th it some high-value card🐭s, including ACE SPEC and Ancient and Future Special Illustration Rares!
Still, over $22 for a card printed in 1999 is fairly impressive, and the overal🌄l popularity of the Pikachu evolution line &ndash🌳; the face of the entire Pokemon franchise – means that Raichu, and its Fossil printing, will always be a hot ticket on the secondary market.
6 𒆙 Ditto – Holofoil 🎀
Market Price: $22.69
A fascinating card for a fascinating ‘mon. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ditto remains a fan favorite, as its ability to mimic any other Pokemon is powerful and unusual &ndaཧsh; even t🥃hough other Pokemon do have similar abilities.
The desi🍷gn team for the TCG knocked it out of the park with Ditto, as its Pokemon Power: Transform gives it the only move it is ever able to learn in-game and perfectly transitions it to the TCG. Great early computer-generated artwork (one of the first for an actual Pokemon in the TCG) means this card retains impressive value.
5 Hitmonlee – Holofoil ꧒
Market Price: $22.93
Who doesn’t love two of the most iconic fighting-type ‘mons of all time? Modelled after Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, Hitmonchan was first prin♏ted in Bas🦹e Set, and immediately became a competitive powerhouse due to its strong one-energy attack and high hit points.
Hitmonlee didn’t make its debut in the TCG until Fossil, and while it’s still quite strong, it didn’t make the competitive splash that its predecessor did. Still though, action-packed Ken Sugimori artwork shows Hitmonlee reachi🦹ng out with those springy legs to clobber an opposing ‘mon, and that just might be enough to merit its high price tag.
4 Articuno – Holofoil ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ
Market Price: $32.42
While Zapdos debuted in Pokemon TCG’s base set, the other two legendary birds didn’t see a TCG appearance until Fossil (where Zapdos also got a new printing). 🀅168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Articuno, the elegant ice/flying-type Pokemoꦗn, was a strong card in the ඣTCG ๊and holds high value even today.

Pokemon TCG: The 10 Most Valuable Cards Fr൩om Neo Genesis
While not as exp༒ens🍒ive as cards from the Pokemon TCG's first generation, Neo Genesis has plenty of pricey pieces of cardboard for collectors and fans.
While you had to be ꦇheavy in water-type energy, Articuno found a home in Rain Dance decks where energy-intensive water-type attacks were trivial to pay for thanks to Base Set Blastoise’s Pokemon Power: Rain Dance. Two highly powerful attacks, one that even hit your foe’s bench if you won a coin flip, meant that Articuno was a strong finisher in the archetype.
3 Moltres – H෴olofoil
Market Price: $32.44
The first-ever TCG appearance of Moltres was also the progenitor of “milling” strategies in the game. While cards that force your opponent to lose the game by not being able to draw from their deck have waxed and waned in Pokemon history, Moltres’s Wildfire att༺ack was a strong option on that front in the TCG’s early days.
Since most competitive decks were playing four copies each of Professor Oak (Professor’꧟s Research without the Supporter limitation) and Bill (draw two cards), players were going through their decks at extremely accelerated rates. Moltres could punish that in t🐷he right circumstances, and that might be why this card is the third-most valuable card from the Fossil set.
2 🌱 Gengar – Holofoil ♒
Market Price: $50.79
The first-ever printing of Gengar in ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚthe TCG couldn’t have come soon enough. 🎃As the final stage of the only ghost-type evolution line in Pokemon’s first generation, Gengar was always going to be a popular card.
Competitively, the card wasn’t a huge hit, but for collectors and Pokemon fans around the world, this card was – and is – an absolute slam dunk. While t🍸he computer-generated artwork isn’t the best, the first appearance of Gengar in the TCG was always going to be a valuable🃏 card – and its price point of over $50 certainly attests to that.
1 Dr🅠agonite – Holofoil 𓄧
Market Price: $61.84
Much like Gengar, Dragonite is the final 🃏stage of the only dragon-type evolution line in Generation 1 of Pokemon. As such, this ‘mon’s first appearance in the TCG was always going to make for an important – and valuable – card.
While its abilities and attacks aren’t incredible (though Pokemon Power: Step In provides a free Switch if necessary), it’s likely the novelty of it being Dragonite’s first appearance as well as the brilliantly colorful (and sweetly calming) artwork by Kagemaru Himeno that make this card an absolute classic, and🅷 easily the most valuable card from theꦆ Pokemon TCG’s third set ever.
