Electric-Type Pokémon are very powerful and their moves are no exception. Although most Electric moves are quite strong, there are some that are just ridiculouslyꦛ powerful. Everyone knows at least a few of these moves because of Pokémon's electrifying mascot, Pikachu.

This list will give fans of the series a look at some of the strongest Electric-T༒ype moves in the world and help show fans how strong electricity can really be. From powerful bites infused with electricity to massive bolts of lightning, here are 15 of the strongest Electric-Type moves that will one-shot any Water-Type!

Updated March 2, 2021 by Thomas Bowen: Sometimes, the strength of a move can be measured not only through its raw power stats, but also the effects and bonuses that using it can yield. With a good enough understanding of the battle mechanics and the knowledge of when and how these attacks are best used, it's possible to wipe the floor with your foes in a satisfying and efficient manner. What's more, you can do so without having to rely on the same old moves time and time again.

15 Charge Beam♚

The electric-type move Charge Beam from the Pokemon Series

While there are plenty of moves that can raise the user's special attack stat, there aren't too many that can simultaneously deal damage while as they charge. Its 50 attack power may not be great when compared to some of the more powerful electric-type moves, ꦉbut the provided by Charge Beam can add up surprisingly quickly.

The move was first introduced to the series in the gen 4 games and has been retroactively added to the learnsets of numerous Pokemon since. I💝t can also be taught using TM57, with more than 100 different Pokemon capable of learning the move this way.

14 Thunderbolt ꦆ

The electric-type move Thunderbolt from the Pokemon series

Although not quite as powerful as it once was, Thunderbolt remains one of the strongest electric🐼-type moves 🌠in the series with an attack power of 90 and a 10% chance of paralyzing the target. Prior to gen 7 however, the move had 95 power and was also able to paralyze other electric-type Pokemon, thus making it a lot more deadly.

There are 18 Pokemon that can learn the move naturally by leveling up with significantly more able to add the attack to their movesets through the use of TR08. It's most deadly in the hands of a cap wearing Pikachu that's holding Pikashunium Z though, as they're able to use the upgraded form 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. The powered up version has a monstrous 195 power as well as a high chance 🍸of landing a critical hit.

13 Ele꧂ctro Ball꧂

The electric-type move Electro Ball from the Pokemon series

First appearing in the anime, Charge Ball has the potential to be one of the most powerful electric-type moves in the game, although t𓂃here's something of a catch. Exactly how much damage the move does depends on how much faster the user is than the target Pokemon.

In order to hit with the equivalent of 150 power, the target's speed will need to be below 25% of the user's. This may seem like a b💎ig difference, but electric-type Pokemon are typically very speedy and a lot of the tankier Pokemon tend to be incredibly slow. As a result, this difference is achieved a lot more often than you might think.

12 🃏 💟 Plasma Fists

The electric-type move Plasma Fists from the Pokemon Series

Not only does Plasma Fists boast 100 power and 100% accuracy, but it also has a rather handy effect that can really help to turn the tide in battle🅠. Once used, all normal-type moves will be changed to electric-type, therefore allowing the user to utilize moves like Hyper Beam and Giga Impact to devast🍌ating effect.

Sadly, there's only one Pokemon that's able to use the move at present; that being the gen 7 mythical Pokemon Zeraora. That said, with base stats totaling 600, high speed and decent physical and special attack stats, there really aren't too many better pure electric-type Pokemon worthy of a spot in the party any🔜way.

11 ꧒ Volt Switch 🌌

The electric-type move Volt Switch from the Pokemon Series

While the 70 attack power of Volt Switch may be a ℱlittle underwhelming at first glance, it more than makes up for this with its useful effect. As the name of the move might suggest, using the attack allows players to switch out their Pokemon immediately after dealing damage which can be incredibly useful in certain situations.

As well as being able to counter a rival switching Pokemon, the move can also be used to escape from the likes of Arena Tra🐼p, Magnet Pull and Spider Web. It only has nine native users at present, although more than 50 are capable of learning it with the aid of TM80.

10 🐽 Buzzy Buzz 🐈

Buzzy Buzz can only be used by Eevee in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Let's Go Eevee. The move inflicts 90 damage onto the enemy and it has a 100% accuracy rate which makes for an incredibly strong move. This🦹 is quite the toughie move for a cutie of a Pokémon!

Buzzy Buzz also paralyzes the enemy Pokémon hit. Because it can onl✨y be learned by Eevee it isn't the strongest Electric-Type move in the Pokémon world, however, it definitely makes the top 10 because of the power it inflicts and the fact that it paralyzes th𓄧e enemy.

9 Par✱abolic Charge

The parabolic charge is very strong because it absorbs 50% of the damage dealt to the enemy hit and gives it to th🎉e Pokémon that used the move. There are few electric type moves that absorb HP for the user which makes this a move that any Electric-Type pokemon should lea🎀rn if they get the chance.

Parabolic Charge attacks e꧃verything around t🧸he Pokémon that uses the move. The one downside to this move is that it only inflicts 65 damage to the Pokémon hit however it makes up for this by having a 100% accuracy rating. Absorbing health always makes for a powerful move and Parabolic Charge is no exception!

8 ♏ 🃏 Thunder Fang

Thunder Fang is an electrifying bite that any electric canine will want in their arse♏nal. It has an accuracy rating of 95% and if it hits the opponent Pokémon it inf𝕴licts 65 damage. The move starts at 15pp and can be improved up to a maximum of 24pp.

Thunder Fang was introduced in Gen IV. It has a 10% chance toꦕ paralyze the enemy pokemon hit by the bite. Electric-Type Pokémon with large teeth should try to learn this powerful move and luckily a large amount of Electric-Type Pokémon are able to use it.

7 ꩲ Volt Tackle 🗹

Volt tackle is one of the Strongest electric type moves in the Pokémon world. The Pokémon using this move rushes and tackles the enemy while covered in electricity. It dܫoes 120 damage with a 100% accuracy rating. This move has 15pp up to a maximum of 24pp, which means it can be used many times in a single battle. This ⛄is one electrifying attack!
