Pokemon has been in the business of turn💫ing some of its more popular creations into l𒉰ife-size plushes for a while. This new range is in the same vein as The Pokemon Company has announced a new collaboration with renowned collectible 🌠creators Sideshow will kick off with a life-size statue mode⛦led after the most famous Pokemon of all.

That Pokemon is, of course, Pikachu because, like it or not, Piꦬkachu is, and always will be, the face of Pokemon. Pikachu's fame almost transcends Pokemon at this stage which is why, as is often the case w🍎hen The Pokemon Company releases a new line of merch, the Electric-type's face is the first one you see.

Who's that Pokemon?

Sideshow's Pikachu statue is the same size as Pikachu appears in the Pokemon anime and accompanying games. 18.5 inches tall and 17.6 inches wide, although the Pikachu statue being almost as wide as it is tall is mostly down to the Poke♐mon's iconic tail, which juts out to the side.

The Pikachu statue is standing on a grassy base and, as is always the case with Sideshow collectibles, recreates the Pokemon in stunning detail. Th♍e bulk of the statue is a vibrant yellow that matches Pikachu's fur, with everything else about the statue's design exactly as you would want and expect it to be. Despite all of the merch Pikachu has received over the years, this might well be the best collectible Pokemon's mascot has ever received.

That quality comes at a price, though, and it's a steep one. Sideshow's Pikachu statue is already available for pre-order through the link in the box at the bottom of this article, and it's going to cost $525 if you want to own a life-size Pikachu of your own. You also won't get the statue right away as it currently has a somewhat wide predicted shipping window, arriving anywhere between December 2025 and March 2026.

If Pikachu's not for you but you like the idea of dropping a significant chunk of PokeCoins on a high-end Pokemon collectible, this is just the beginning of a new partnership between Sideshow and The Pokemon Company, and the next statue has already been revealed. A Charizard statue, which depicts the Fire-type in-flight held up by a fiery bas𓆉e, will follow Pikachu into Pokemon's Sideshow collection.

As much as I'd love to have a life-size Charizard statue on display in my home, I'm hoping the next statue after Pikachu isn't the same size as an actual Charizard. I dread to think how much a five-foot-seven high-end Pokemon statue would cost, and I'd have no idea where to put it. The side-by-side images make it seem like the Charizard statue will be about the same size as Pikachu.
