Who Are Koraidon And Miraidon?

At the beginning of Scarlet & Violet, you discover and befriend the injured Koraidon or Miraidon, respectively, after they crash land on the beach near your house. Throughout the course of the game, as you defeat Titan Pokemon with Arven, you can feed the Pokemon Herba Mystica sandwiches to restore the abilities it once had, like swimming and gliding.
Eventually, at the end of the game, you discover the time machine in the depths of Area Zero, where you learn that Pokemon from different times have been transported to Paldea. These Paradox Pokemon, as they are called, are Pokemon that traveled from the past or future into the present time, and represent the ancient or future forms of modern Pokemon.
Koraidon and Miraidon are, in fact, also Paradox Pokemon. These legendary Pokemon were actually ancient or future forms of the Paldean Pokemon Cyclizar. Koraidon and Miraidon traveled through the time machine♍ and ended up in Paldea.
What Do Koraidon And Miraidon's Names Mean?
Koraidon and Miraidon's names actually describe their origins, similar to how the Paradox Pokemon are named. In Japanese, the word korai means ancient, and the word mirai means future. Added to the suffix -don, which is often used for dinosaurs or dragons, and you have, quite literally, ancient dragon and future dragon.
Why Are There Two Koraidon And Miraidon?
In the final battle of the game, the AI professor, who is taken over by the Paradise Protection Protocol, sends out a second Koraidon or Miraidon to battle yours. After you defeat it and beat the game, you can return to Area Zero and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:capture this second version of your legendary.
The reason there can be two legendary Pokemon is actually quite simple. Because Koraidon and Miraidon are Paradox Pokemon of Cyclizar, there are probably very common Pokemon in their respective time periods, but only two of the Pokemon made it through the time mach🍃ine into 𝐆the present day.
It is through this understanding of the second Koraidon or Miraidon that we learn why Koraidon and Miraidon ended up crashing on the beach in the first place. The Koraidon or Miraidon you befriend is weaker than the professor's version, and was chased out of Area Zero in a territorial conflict. Wounded in the battle, Koraidon or Miraidon have just enough strength to fly out of A♈rea Zero and escape their double.
