I’m foaming at the mouth to get my hands on the new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Space-Time Smackdown cards coming to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon TCG Pocket. The upcoming Diamond & Pearl-themed set will be Pocket’s first full-sized expansion following the Genetic Apex base set, and while we won’t know all of the cards included until it launches on January 30, what we’ve seen so far is pretty exciting. Along with Gen 4 Legendary Pokemon, the set is also introducing Tools - a staple card type in the main Pokemon TCG - and 16🌃8澳洲幸运5开奖网:the highly-anticipated trading feature.

Pok🀅emon TCG Pocket Warns Players Not To Trade For Real Money
"We will warn them, suspend their ac🌜count, or take🦩 action."
Thanks to a recent for the set, we saw a handful of new cards, while Pokemon database added a few more. Like any TCG, there’s no wayꦚ to know what will be the most playable cards or have the biggest impact on the meta, but I can’t help overhype the first good card we’ve seen. Lucario has the potential to be a game changer, and I can’t wait to see what players do with this in their Fighting-type decks🎐.
All Hail Lucario
First of all, just look at this beauty. The one-star version of Lucario is one of the coolest-looking cards in the game yet. Illustrated by legendary Pokemon artist Akira Komayama, this card is full of flavor and style. I love the way its ability, Fighti💙ng Coach, is represented in the art, with Lucario leading a team of Fighting-type Pokemon. Pokemonꩵ cards aren’t known for having great storytelling, so the fact that this one does makes it even more special.
Fighting Coach is what makes this card so interesting, and depending on how the meta evolves, I could see it becoming an incredibly important piece of the Fighting-type puzzle. The ability is simple: When Lucario is in play, your Fighting-type Pokemon’s attacks do +20 damage to opposing active Pokemon. If you know anything about breakpoints in Pocket you know how huge this damage buff can be. There’s a reason Giovanni is a staple in so many decks - and he only gives your Pokemon +10 damage one t🍰ime.
This card also features M💮edicham and Hitmontop, who ꦍdo not yet have cards of their own yet.
There are a lot of interesting ways to combine Lucario’s ability with other Fighting-type Pokemon. The first one that comes to mind is Marowak ex, a Pokemon that can deal 160 damage with just two energy (if you canᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ flip heads twice). W♋ith Lucario on the bench, that number goes up to 180, which can knock out Mewtwo ex in a single hit. That’s a massive amount of damage for just two energy - though it does require you to evolve two Pokemon first.
Big Damage Is Big Fun
Pikachu ex was the former heavy-hitter thanks to its ability to deal up to 210 damage𒀰 with a full bench, but Lucario opens the door for other big damage dealers to come in. Pokemon with heavy swings like Machamp and Golem have even more range no🍸w with 20 extra damage, while aggro cards like Kabutops and Marshadow are suddenly a lot more threatening.
This is all before you even factor in the stacking potential for Lucario. As far as I can tell, having two Lucario on your bench will give your Fighting-Type Pokemon +40 damage. This can lead to some truly absurd setups. Imagine Kabutops dealing 90 damage with a single energy, then healing for the same amount. Or turni💎ng a simple Hitmonchan into a 70-damage killer. Once we see the other Fighting-type cards coming in the new set, there may be ev🍬en more outrageous synergies for Lucario.
Again, it’s noꦛ use predicting the met༺a this early. But when I start ripping Pocket packs next week, I know exactly which Pokemon I’m looking for.
