With only the original 150 to catch, plus Meltan and Melmetal, there aren't too many Pokemon to find in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. It can be hard to choose which of these creatures to use a Master Ball on, since there's only a couple of Legendaries and they're not too hard to trap with an Ultra Ball or something similar.

You're only given one guaranteed Master Ball, so make the best of it wherever possible. Legendaries are the most obvious choice, but if you want to use it on Snorlax, why not? If yours is collecting dust, here are a few things to consider tossing it at.

Updated on October 16, 2021 by Michael Christopher: There's nothing in the Pokemon series as classic as the Kanto region. Whether you're just jumping into these remake games for the first time, or you've been holding onto your Master Ball for quite a long time, it can be hard to decide what to use it on. We've updated this list for readability, and we've added a brief tutorial on where to find the Master Ball for those who don't have it yet.

Make your way through each floor, battling Team Rocket cronies until you find the boss, Giovanni. After defeating him, the Silph Co. President will give you the 🅰Master Ball as a thank-you gift.

Where To Get Extra Master Balls In Pokemon Let's Go

There is a way to get more Master Balls, though, if you're super lucky.

After defeating the Elite Four, make your way to the second floor of Cerulean Cave. Here, you can find a wide variety of great items in the sparkles on the floor. If you're super, super lucky, you can find extra Master Balls. There's no limit to how many you can find here, but the chances are very, very low.

Abra

Abra Pokemon Let's Go

Abra has always been a difficult Pokemon to catch, and the Let's Go series is no different. This Psychic-type and is highly desired by many for their team. But, you'll have to be very quick to nab this one before it flees.

Abra uses Teleport on the first move, meaning it'll always flee after the first move you make. Additionally, you won't be able to encounter them if you approach them from the front. They'll see you and zip out of there before you can blink. If you've got a Master Ball laying around, consider using it to save yourself the headache.

Kangaskhan

Kangaskhan Let's Go

While Abra is difficult to catch, it's at least pretty common. Kangaskhan, on the other hand, is hard to find. This Normal-type marsupial is found in Rock Tunnel, but at a very low rate. It only has a one percent chance to spawn in the area, meaning you'll be seeing a lot of Zubats while trying to hunt it down.

For many, it could be the last unfilled entry in their Pokedex, due to its rarity. If you don't feel like risking it fleeing after hunting for one for an hour, catch it in a Master Ball.

Snorlax

Snorlax Pokemon Let's Go

Snorlax is one of the more difficult Pokemon to get your hands on in the Let's Go games. It's one of the only wild Pokemon that you actually have to battle before you can have a chance at capturing it. In addition to the fact that you have to fight it, there's a time limit you have to contend with as well.

On top of all this, there are only two places where Snorlax will appear in this manner. You can find them in Cerulean Cave as well, but they're extremely rare and almost never spawn. Since it requires a battle and is hard to catch (or supremely rare in Cerulean Cave), it might be worth using your Master Ball on. It's especially nice to have a Snorlax because 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it's a ride Pokemon with a pretty cute animation.

Dratini or Dragonair

Dratini and Dragonair Let's Go

In the spirit of Pokemon that are incredibly rare, a Master Ball might be worth using on Dratini, too. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:This Dragon-type pseudo-Legendary base stage Pokemon has a very low encounter rate, too. It's found on Route 10 while using Sea Skim and has only a four percent chance to appear.

Even worse, Dragonair matches Kangaskhan with a one percent encounter rate. Sure, normal Pokemon aren't always worth using a Master Ball on, but if you already have the legendaries, you'd might as well.

Final 'Dex Slot

Chansey Let's Go

In many cases, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:completing a Pokedex is the more🍃💞 difficult part of a Pokemon game. Even though the Let's Go series only has slightly over 150 to catch, sometimes it's frustrating to finish the 'dex off, with low spawn rates and frustrating RNG.

If you have one Pokemon left to fill your Pokedex and earn that sweet Shiny Charm, why not just use your Master Ball? There's something so incredibly satisfying about finding that Chansey or Kangaskhan and finishing that Pokedex off. The last thing you'd want is for them to run.

The Legendary Birds — Moltres, Zapdos, or Articuno

Legendary Birds Kanto Let's Go

Of course, there's always the obvious uses for a Master Ball. That is, Legendary Pokemon. In Let's Go, there are only four to catch: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Mewtwo. Since you only get one Master Ball, it's entirely your choice which of them you'd use it on.

Here's a look at each!

Moltres

This Legendary Bird is found deep inside Victory Road, meaning you can grab it on your way to the Elite Four and Champion. Like the other Legendaries, it'll be battled before you have a chance to catch it.

Zapdos

Zapdos Let's Go

Moltres not your type? Considering capturing Zapdos with your Master Ball instead. It's a powerful Electric/Flying-type and the only one of the three Legendary Birds to not have a double-weakness to the Rock-type.

If you want to catch this Legendary Pokemon, head to Route 10 from Route 9 or Lavender Town. Enter the Power Plant and navigate your way through the building, and hopefully encounter this rare creature. You'll have to battle it, just like Articuno, before you have the chance to make the catch attempt.

Articuno

Articuno Let's Go

The final Legendary Bird in the trio, Articuno is another great candidate for a Master Ball. To find it, solve the frustrating and confusing Seafoam Islands puzzle and make your way to its den. Like the others, you'll have to battle it. One great thing about Articuno is that it looks the most beautiful following behind your character if you let it out of its Poke Ball.

Each of the Legendary Birds is a great choice against different members of the Elite Four, but Articuno will be great for taking down Lance's Dragonite. It'll also be a great choice against 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Champion's Mega Pidgeot, Marowak, and Vileplume.

Mewtwo

pokemon-lets-go-mewtwo

The classic, most original, and probably most frequent use for a Master Ball: Mewtwo. This ultra-powerful Legendary Pokemon seems to be exactly what the Master Ball was made for. Mewtwo and the Master Ball are both purple, and the ball itself has a large M on the front. This stands for Master Ball, obviousl🌞y, but fans are quick to acknowledge how fitting the ball is for Mewtwo.

Find Mewtwo deep in Cerulean Cave, where it will challenge you to an intense battle. After you catch it, Green will show up and give you Mewtwo's two Mega Stones.

Shinies

Shiny Beedrill Let's Go

Probably the only Pokemon more valuable (and rare) than a Legendary in Let's Go is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a shiny Pokemon. Sure, there's only one Mewtwo, but it's guaranteed to show up in that same spot every time. Shiny Pokemon are not guaranteed.

After hours or even days of shiny hunting for that neon green Beedrill, that Master Ball suddenly seems very appealing. Treat yourself for your hard work and use it — there isn't much that's as crushing as having a shiny flee. It's not worth the risk.

Whoever You Want!

A Group of Pokemon In Let's Go

While there can be any number of recommendations from different people for where to use your Master Ball, it ultimately comes down to you. Sure, Mewtwo is hard to catch and matches the ball perfectly, but if you've had a nightmare of a time trying to find Scyther because of its low spawn rate, use that Master Ball!

There's no single Pokemon that requires a ball with a guaranteed catch. With enough time and effort, anything can be caught in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:almost any ball. Save that Master Ball for when it's the most convenient for you.
