Summary
- A new leak may have revealed the starters for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which is set to release next year.
- A piece of art to market the 2025 Pokemon World Championships has been leaked on Twitter, which includes starter Pokemon Chespin, Froakie, and Fennekin.
- That makes sense given that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set in Kalos, though it does mean we're probably not getting cross gen starters this time around.
Pokemon developer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Game Freak has been dealing with a series of leaks for the past few weeks, which have been revealing all kinds of details about upcoming projects, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:such as Generation 10, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:unannounced multiplayer spin-offs, and the soon-to-be released 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Legends: Z-A. In fact, a new set of leaks dropped earlier today giving us more info on the last title, including potentially whi🃏ch Pokemon are set to be included as the game's starters.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Legends: Arceus shook♛ things up a little bit with its starter Pokemon, giving players starters from various different generations to choose from. You could have your choice of Cyndaquil, Rowlett, or Oshawott, representing Gen 2, 7, and 5 respectively, so there were a lot of questions surrounding whether Pokemon Legends: Z-A would do the same. Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Starters May Have Leaked
, a Twitter account that has been regularly sharing leaked info this past few weeks, they reveal some art that looks to be marketing material for the Pokemon World Championships next year. A variety of Pokemon can be seen in the art, including the likes of Machamp, Jigglypuff, Meowth, and the ever-present (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:but not most popular) Pikachu.
You can also see three starter Pokemon in the art too, those being Chespin, Froakie, and Fennekin, all three of which were the starters for Pokemon X & Y. Given that we know Pokemon Legen꧟ds: Z-A is set entirely within Lumiose City, the capital of the Kalos region, it's not too surprising that G♊ame Freak has decided to stick with the X & Y starters, though it is slightly disappointing.

Pokemon Gꦏo Nerfs𒀰 Gigantamax Raids, Rural Players Still Forgotten
Pokemon Go has finally listened to player feedback, but Gigantamax raids on🎶ly reꦰmain possible for city players.
It’s also worth pointing out that while these three are extremely likely to be the game's starters, it isn't outright confirmed just yet. However, the starters for the games released in the same year as a Pokemon World Championship , as was the case for 2023 Pokemon World Championships in Japan, which featured 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Scarlet & Violet's Sprigatito, Quaxley, and Fuecoco.
It's a little sad to see Game Freak sticking with the Gen 6 starters for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but here's hoping that all three get cool new forms like the starters in Pokemon Legends: Arceus did. It’s possible that all three could be lined up to get Mega Evolutions, as we know the feature is returning in Pokemon Lege🌄nds: Z-A, but we won't know for sure un💟til Ga🐈me Freak confirms it themselves.
