168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the Pokemon game everyone has wanted for years. It’ওs an open world adventure that allows you to experience the world of Pokemon like never before. As is tradition, you are given the choice between a fire, grass, and water-type as your first Pokemon.
The three starters to choose from in Pokemon Legends: Arceus are Generation Two’s Cyndaquil, Generation Five’s Oshawott, and Generation Seven's Rowlet. Each one has their pros and cons, making it difficult to figure out which is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the best starter for you. It turns out that there are many ꦍlittle-known details about these three Pokemon that you should know before you commit to any of them.
9 💞 Rowlet Has Piercing Feathers ಞ
Rowlet may look like an adorable little owl with a leaf bow tie on the outside, but it’s actually an absolute beast. According to the Pokemon’s Pokedex entries, Rowlet has razor sharp feathers that are comparable to knives. That means you don’t want to be anywhere near this P🐈okemon when it starts swinging its wi🔯ngs around.
On top of that, Rowlet supposedly has very strong legs. It can fly around at high speeds and land some surprisingly powerful kicks, just like large hawks can do in real life, so you definitely don’t want to make i꧅t angry.
8 Oshawott's Scalchop Multi-Tool
The shell on Oshawott’s chest looks like a nice design in the Pokemon’s fur, but it’s really a multipurpose tool that the Pokemon uses for practically everything. Known as a scalchop, Oshawott uses it as a blade to attack its opponents. The scalchop is reminiscent of a Japanese war fa📖n and is used as such by Oshawott.
Oshawott also uses it as a tool to crack open its prey and do the typical things that sea otters do. It’s positioned💜 on its chest because sea otters often use clamshells and other tools on their chest as they lie on their back.
7 Cyndaquil's Fiery Spine
Cyndaquil may be an oldie, but it 🥃sure is a goodie. This Pokemon has been around since Generation Two and is finally getting the love it deserves nearly two decades later. One look at Cyndaquil and you just fall in love with the tiny fireball.
It’s surprising that Cyndaquil eventually evolves into Typhlosion, one of the most powerful fire-type Pokemon in Pok𓆏emon Legends: Arceus, considering it’s actually a really timid and shy Pokemon. It likes to keep to itself. Most times, there are no flames visible on Cyndaquil’s back, but it won’t hesitate to turn up the heat if it’s scared or threatened. The flames on its back are a defen🌌se mechanism to keep Cyndaquil away from harm.
6 🍌 Rowlet Is Weak Against Itself
Rowlet is a dual-type Pokemon, which is a rare commodity among starter Pokemon. Along with the grass and po🅷ison-type Bulbasaur from Generation One, the grass and flying-type Rowlet is⭕ the only other dual-type starter Pokemon.
Grass and flying is a weird type combination because it means that Rowlet is weak to one of its own types. Flying-type moves are s🍰uper effective against grass-type Pokemon and have normal effectiveness against flying-type Pokemon, meaning they do two times the d𓄧amage against Rowlet. Rowlet is the only starter Pokemon to be weak against their own type, so you might want to attack that Starly with a different Pokemon.
5 𓆏 Oshawott Is A Sea Otter🅺 Pup And Samurai Mix
W📖hen designing Oshawott, the developers at Game Fr🧜eak had a difficult time. They didn’t know how to make this Pokemon based on a sea otter stand out from the crowd. Eventually, they came up with a samurai theme and gave Oshawott its scalchop.
Other than the scalchop, it’s hard to see any similarities between Oshawott and a samurai, but the samurai theme becomes increasingly apparent as the Pokemon evolves. Dewott looks a lot like a samur𒉰ai and rests in a fighting pose. Samurott has the first five letters of samurai in its name and also resembles an a𒁃rmored samurai with the shell helmet on its head.
4 Rowlet's Secondary Type Changes
Rowlet is easily one of the most unique starters in all of Pokemon. When Rowlet evolves into Dartrix, it retains its dual grass and flying-type status. But when the Pokemon evolves into Decidueye, one of the strongest grass-type Pokemon in t🅰he whole game, that’s where things change.
When Dartrix evolves into Decidueye in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it becomes a grass and fighting-type Pokemon. The same thing happens in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Sun and Moon. Decidueye is a grass and ghost-type Pokemon in those games, meaning its secondary type changes in Sun and Moon as well. In fact, Rowlet is the only starter whose secondary type changes throughout their evolutionary family.
3 ♊ Cyndaquil Is An Echidna, Anteater, And Porcupine Mix
Cyndaquil is such ཧa lovable Pokemon that is based on a c🔯ombination of three real world animals: the echidna, the anteater, and the porcupine. Cyndaquil’s appearance is based heavily on the echidna, but its long snout resembles that of an anteater. It’s mainly a hybrid of those two animals.
When Cyndaquil is threatened, it will release fire from its back. This defense mechanism is similar to the quills used by a porcupine to ward off its predators. Despite Cyndaquil not actually having any quills, its defense mechanism is clearly what puts the “quil” in Cyndaquil.
2 Oshawott's Low Base Stat Total
Every Pokemon has a base stat that d⭕etermines the growth of each of its six stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. By adding up these six base stats, you can find a Pokemon’s base stat total.
Oshawott's base stat total of 308 is the lowest base stat total out of any water starter. It’s not a big deal that Oshawott’s base stats aren’t great because, once it evolves into Samurott, it becomes one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the best daꦜrk-type Pokemon in the game. That being said, its low base stat to𓆉tal may make things more difficult in the early game.
1 Rowlet's High Base HP
It’s very difficult to determine whi🦹ch stat is the most important in Pokemon, but you have to agree that having high HP certainly helps. If HP is your preferred stat, then Rowlet is the starter you want because it has the highest base HP out of any unevolved starter.
Of course, you shouldn’t expect Rowlet to be like Blissey, but you’ll definitely notice the Pokemon’s relatively high base HP stat of 68 early on. Now, it’ll still get one shot by an alpha Bibarel using an ice-type attack, so make sure you have a different Po༒kemon out for that encounter.
