Even with more than 1,000 Pokemon at its disposal, you'd think The Pokemon Company would be close to running out of new ideas for merchandise. Then it will team ꦏup with Tiffany and release aඣ sold gold Pikachu and you realize there probably is no end to the ideas for Pokemon merch. Thankfully, you don't need the $ꦡ30,000 it'll cost you to get Tiffany's Pikachu if all you want is Pokemon merch innovation. You can just pick up a Trapinch stapler instea🎉d.

Meccha Japan shared an image of the Pokemon Center's upcoming Kamitsuki collection on social media. Yes, that does appear to mean the products will be exclusive to Japan, but if popular enough they may be released elsewhere. The giant Ps♓yduck pl♕ush available for pre-order right now was once 🌠a Japanese Pokemon Center exclusive, and now you can get it anywhere.

The card will be available through various retailers sta🅘🌳rting from February 23, while stocks last.

If the social media reaction to the Trapinch stapler is anything to go by, the🎃n it and the rest of the Kamitsuki Collection will be shipped to the US Pokemon Center before you know it. Even though the image includes other items from the collection, like a Fuecoco clip and a pencil case with all five of the collectionಞ's Pokemon on it, the Trapinch stapler is the item almost everyone honed in on and has become mildly obsessed with since.

Other Pokemon in the collection include Totodile, Gible, and Greavard. An interesting selection of Pokemon that doesn't appear to have a connection to stationary or each other, but it's cool to see some left-field picks featured on merchandise that isn't a plush. Pikachu and the Kanto starters are on just about everything, but one thing none of those popular pi♛cks can offer is an appearance that looks just like a stapler. That's a job for Trapinch and Trapinch alone.

The promise of a Trapinch stapler being available outside of Japan one day is hopefully not all you'll have to hang your Pokemon hat on once February has been and gone. The Pokemon calendar is looking pretty barren right now, but that's probably due to tওhe big news being saved for Pokemon Day. If the calendar is still empty after February 27, then it's time to start worrying. And, you know, keep lobbying for a Trapnch stapler worldwide release, regardless of wh♊at else is announced.
