Given that you've now collected every badge in Sinnoh, it's high time you braved the treacherous depths of Victory Road in order to make your way to the Pokemon League.
Here, we'll tell you how to get through Victory Road in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, as well as provide you with some hints and tips to make that journey as easy as possible.

Where To Find Victory Road
After obtaining the HM for Waterfall from Jasmine at the beach north of Sunyshore City, make sure you’re well stocked up on Revives, Hyper Potions, status healing items, and Ultra Balls if you fancy catching any more Pokemon.
At this point, you’re probably best off sticking with the team you’ve been using instead of bringing in lower level &lsꦍquo;mons and having to help them catch up, but hey - we don’t judge.
Once you’re ready to rock, go back to the beach where Jasmine is and start surfing north along Route 223. There are lots of trainers here, all of whom you should probably battle in order to clinch as many last-minute levels as pos𝐆sible before taking on the Elite Four.
When you eventually hit a slightly raised platform with a sailor, you need to battle him, head left, and go back into the water on the other side of the silver rock. From here, you can start surfing north again until you reach a waterfall, which you’re now able to climb. Head on up, heal your party at the Pokemon Centre, and take your first steps into the illustrious labyrinth known as Victory R🍰oad𝓀.
Victory Road Walkthough
Victory Road is a huge, sprawling series of caves with all kinds of trainers to battle and treasures to uncover. To be perfectly honest, I firmly believe that getting lost in Victory Road is the best way to prep for the Pokemon League because it forces you to train hard, potentially get washed, and then come back again t🐻o train even harder.
Because of that, I’m going to suggest you do exactly that if you want optimal results here. If you just want to get to the Pokemon League though, I’ll also offer the fastest possible route - although again, this is one place where I think you’re better off taking your time and fighting through as many battles as you can.
Here’s the fastest way through Victory Road:
- When you enter the cave, head straight across the first bridge and right across the next one.
- From here, you can go south down a flight of stairs or north across a bridge - go north.
- Take the Rock Climb wall on your right down to the path below you.
- Go all the way left until you reach a flight of stairs leading up to an ace trainer - take the stairs and battle them.
- Just above the ace trainer, you’ll see two flights of stairs going up on your left - take both of them.
- Smash the Rock Smash boulders below you and head down to the Strength puzzle.
- Push the top right boulder down, the top left boulder left, and the remaining, unmoved boulder down.

At the next Strength boulders, push the left one down, go around to the Rock Smash boulder beneath it, break it, push the left boulder up twice, and go right around the corner to another Rock Smash boulder.
- Fight the ace trainer in front of you and go to the next Strength puzzle.
- All you have to do here is move the top boulder right to open a path to the veteran above you.
- Fight the trainer and go down the stairs behind them.
- Go across the bridge and down the Rock Climb wall.Go left, up, right, fight the karate guy, and go down the stairs to the next room.
- Surf across to the psychic and beat them in a battle.
- Now Surf north and up the waterfall.
- Surf north, west, land and fight the dragon tamer.

Continue west, go south, and then go up the stairs on your left after landing again.
- Go left, fight the veteran, and then go down - make sure you do not jump over the ledge.
- Turn right and go up the Rock Climb wall to fight another dragon tamer.
- Go straight across the bridge and the exit will be on your left.
- Head north, climb the waterfall, and voila! The illustrious Pokemon League stands before you.
