How To Catch Cresselia
Like most legendary Pokemon, catching Cresselia is hard. However, if you know every step involved in finding Cresselia, then it becomes much more manageable. Here's everything you need to do to catch Cresselia.
Complete The Regional Pokedex
Catching every Pokemon in the Pokedex is a challenging task, even if you only include Pokemon from the Regional Pokedex. However, you may not know that completing the Regional Pokedex to get the National Pokedex only requires you to see all 151 creatures in the Sinnoh region, not capture them.
Most of the Pokemon you need to complete the Regional Pokedex are present during your playthrough of the main story; however, one creature you won't encounter is the main legendary of the opposite version of Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. For example, if you're playing Brilliant Diamond, then you won't encounter Palkia during your adventure.
Luckily, there's a way to get around this; you simply have to speak to Cynthia's Grandmother inside Celestic Town. She lives in a house, and if you speak to her, she'll show you a photo of either Dialga or Palkia, which will register them in your Pokedex. Once you've seen every Pokemon in the Sinnoh region, return to Professor Rowan, and you can unlock the National Pokedex.
How To Find Cresselia
After you receive the National Pokedex, you can talk to a boy and his mother in Canalave City. You will encounter this character inside a house in the bottom-left section of the city. Once you talk to the boy, you can board a ship by speaking with a character nearby in a sailor outfit. The boat takes you to Fullmoon Island. When you arrive at the Island, you'll encounter Cresselia, and it will quickly disappear, so you need to chase it through the Sinnoh region.
You can use the Marking Map feature on your Poketch to track Cresselia. To get the Marking Map application, speak with the President of Poketch inside Jubilife City, and he'll give it to you for free. This feature allows you to track 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:roaming Pokemon like Cresselia, and it's useful for catching other legendary Pokemon as well.
When you finally do manage to enter a battle with Cresselia, there's still another problem. Cresselia will flee from the battle, so you have to stop it from running away by bringing a Wobbuffet with the Shadow Tag ability or by putting it to sleep. Quick Balls work well at the beginning of the battle if you want to try your luck. However, the Master Ball is the quickest way to catch Cresselia. If you don't have either, then slowly damage it until it's weak enough for you to catch it in an Ultra Ball or any other Poke Ball.
