I hate to admit it, but enough time has passed that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation's original consoles can be considered retro. Not just the PS1, but the PS2 as well. Apologies if that makes you feel old. Perhaps the reveal that the retro consoღle y﷽ou grew up playing has been turned into a plush, for some reason, will make you feel better.
The PS2 is one of the most iconic and successful consoles of all time. Selling 160 million units - a number that miraculously keeps getting bigger every time𝔍 the Nintendo Switch nips at its heels - it's actually the most successful console of all time. Since consoles have come a long way since then, there's not real𓆉ly an option to sell more of them. Unless you turn the console into an oversized plush, of course.
Be warned, if we buy this plush in our droves, PlayStation will probably count those sales as console sales so that it moves even further away from the Switch.
A first look at the plush has been shared via Big Bad Toy Store, which is als🌱o where you can place a pre-order for the squishy PS2 if you'd like one. The plush is a big black block, much like the console it's modeled after, with PS2 detailing on the top and the side -💟 what would be considered the front of the console.
The PS2 has been turned into a PS5-sized plush
If every console ends up getting one of these, I'm in trouble
That detailing includes the blue PS2 logo on the top, and the ridges with controller and memory card ports on the side. Just how extensive that detailing is, and whether it includes where we'd have🌸 placed our power cords🍃 and scart cables on the back, isn't clear. More detailed photos of the plush haven't been shared, and the listing notes that elements of the plush could still change.
That might be why we haven't seen the plush pop up elsewhere yet. Although there's no mention of it being an officially licensed PlayStation product, with the logo and the company name printed on the plush, you'd think the console's creator had 𒊎a hand in the plush becoming a reality. Perhaps a full reveal and confirmation that the design above has been finalized is com🐎ing soon.
If you can't wait for that, . It costs $29.99, but it won't ship until December 2025, another indication that this is an earlier-than-planned listing for the plush. It's a little bit bigger than a launch PS2 at 16.5 inches, hence the oversized descriptor. Pretty big, but it will still look relatively small if you've been lucky enough to vis♐it the Nintendo Museum and brought back one of those giant Wiimote plushes.
