In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pharaoh A New Era there are several different types of housing, and each one has different levels of evolution within it. Higher-level houses will allow more residents, and in turn, will pay more taxes. Howe🌄ver, they also demand more services, whi🍃ch all need workers.
Balancing housing levels is tricky, especially since very high-level houses have occupants who no longer work, increasing tax at the cost of reducing your workforce. This guide looks at each hous𝐆ing level, what it requires, and what it offers your city in return.
Housing Overview
Houses start as marked-out vacant lots and then evolve through eight main different types, each with subtypes. To evolve a house you'll need to offer progressively more goods and services. Each level of housing has different requirements for these, and you'll also need to improve desirability to get through the different levels.
Taxes for the city are based on the number of occupants, housing level, and city tax rate. Therefore, it's advantageous to evolve your houses by at least a few levels.
You'll want to provide all housing with coverage from a Firehouse, Architect's Post, Apothecary, and Physician. This will hel𒆙p prevent fire, collℱapse, and disease, all of which negatively affect your city.
To help you work out the best level to stop at we've mapped out each house type, what it requires to evolve, and the maximum number of occupants based on a 2x2 square of lots.
Hut
The first level of housing is marked out vacant lots. Then there are two types of hut, crude and sturdy. This first level of housing simply requires basics.
Housing Type |
Requirements To Evolve |
Maximum Occupancy |
---|---|---|

Crude Hut |

Sturdy Hut |
Food delivered from a Bazaar |

Huts look dull and will affect the desirability of the local area. While they don't need more than food and water they also hold few occupants, so you'll want to evolve past this stage as quickly as possible.
Huts will use well water, but you'll soon need a water source, so it's easier to just build one to begin with.
Shanty
A Shanty is basically a shack with a little colour. It has two types, meager and common. You'll evolve to common almost instantly if you placed a water source instead of a well early on.
Housing Type |
Requirements To Evolve |
Maximum Occupancy |
---|---|---|
Meager Shanty |
Access to priests from 1 Temple |
36 |
Common Shanty |
Water from a Water Source |

While a Shanty looks a little nicer, it's still undesirable to live near. You'll also need to start paying attention to gods as soon as you build this first temple. If you have a patron god, then one temple to them and some shrines is fine. However, if you don't keep a good balance the gods will soon anger.
Cottage
Cottages look a little nicer, have minimal service requirements, and still don't require any goods to be manufactured. The two types of cottage are rough and ordinary.

Cottages are a nice level to keep your houses at since they are reasonably good-looking and hold a decent amount of workers. This means you can set up pockets of them to funnel workers to different areas.
The services Cottages require use far fewer workers than the housing can provide, making them perfect for☂ a city using recruiters.
Homestead
Homesteads also have two types, modest and spacious. While they require more services the chances are you already provided a Physician to keep your city disease free, so this level of housing is easy to achieve.

Homesteads require basic goods, but also give a nice desirability boost and pay reasonable taxes. They are usually quite easy to keep evolved as pottery and beer tend to be easily acquired in mo🧸st cities.
Apartment
Apartments are one of the last housing types before the requirements to evolve turn steep. They come in two types, Modest and spacious.

Courtrooms are a good boost to your city, since they also reduce crime. However, schools and libraries require supplies of papyrus to both build and fun✱ction, which can be difficultไ.
Residence
Residences come in four different types, common, spacious, elegant, and fancy. Requirements are high, but there are benefits a🅰s well.

Fancy Residence |

The needs of these houses are high. However, they generate a large amount of tax and are very desirable to live close to. Likely you'll want houses of different levels spread across the city to maintain a balance of facilities, workers and space.
Residences are the last level of houses that generate workers. Evolving past this level 🐓will reduce your workforce
Manor
Manors are high capacity high tax paying residences that come in four forms, common, spacious, elegant, and stately. As they evolve they will require space to expand into. The easiest way to provide this is to surround them with gardens.

Those in manors request a lot of items and do not work in the city. However, having some upper class residents will yield high taxes for the treasury and increase your prosperity rating.
