Persona 5: The Phantom𝔍 X has a lot going on, let us unpack it all for you and help you get to the heart stealing part.
Unlocking the ability to equip Revelation Cards is only half the battle. Once they are available, you're going to want to figure out how to get them. We'll give you the ins and outs of how Revelation Cards work, we'll tell you where you can get your hands on them, and we'll break down t🍃he bonuses associated🐬 with each.
How Do You Unlock Revelation Cards?
Revelation Cards unlock at level 35. The moment you hit that level, you will be given a very brief tutorial telling you that you can now equip these Revelation Cards. It is vital that you do not ignore this new mechanic, as Revelation Cards give your units a massive stat boost the moment you get your hands on them. As I already said in the intro, these are basically your🥃 core equipment. If you don't get your team decked out in gear sooner rather than later, you'll find that they start getting stomped by the tougher baddies.
How Do You Get Revelations Cards?
There are two primary ways to get Revelation Cards...
- You can use your limited energy reserves to farm for them in the Realm of Repression.
- You can find them in chests while exploring the Path of Aiyatsbus
At level 35, you won't be able to farm for any high-level Revelation Cards. So, any cards you get will eventually need to be replaced. That's not an amazing use of your stamina. You will only want to hit the Realm of Repression if you are absolutely desperate for a very specific set. Otherwise, driving around Aiyatsbus and snatching up treasures will do you fine until you are a high enough level to farm for gold Revelation Ca⛄rds.
How Do Revelation Cards Work?
Revelation cards are pretty simple. You have four slots represented by the Sun, Moon, Star, and Sky. Cards can only be equipped in the slot that they are marked for. Sets get a boost when you have two of one kind and four of one kind. You will almost always want to aim for the four-set boost, as it activates the more powerful ability.
What Are Sub-stats?
While the effects never change, the stats given by each card are randomized. A card will gain stats as it levels up, maxing out at five stats. Obviously, some stats are going to be better suited to certain card types than others. As an example, the Peace set is good for defensive builds. So, you are probably hoping to get an HP boost, not an Attack Power boost. There is no way to control wha🎃t sub-stat you ⛄will receive. It is all just luck of the draw.
What Do The Different Colors Represent?
Just like with weapons, the rarity of your Revelation Cards is represented by colors. The hierarchy of quality, from least to most, is gray, blue, purple, and gold. The h🦩igher the quality, the higher y༒ou will be able to level the card up, and the more powerful it can become.
