How To Defeat Shadow Toshiro
The true boss is Shadow Toshiro, and his persona, Ernesto. It is a really simple fight🐈 that mostly exists to introduce you to using Toshiro and Ernesto.
First of all, before you break through the shield, Shadow Toshiro can only be damaged by Toshiro. Have Toshiro focus ✃on doing that while your other party members take out 🍌the other enemies.
Once Toshiro has knocked Shadow Toshꦬiro down, you can activate a Triangle Attack with him.
While Toshiro's positioning isn't taken into account while using a Triagle Attack, he can activate it so long as he has a One More and your other party members are surrounding a downed enemy.
With this, you can move the rest of your party members into an optimal position to take out the enemies and then move them into cover.
From here, you can have the rest of your party members just gang up on Shadow Toshiro. Once you get through his health, he'll make another barrier and summon more enemies.
Just do what you did before, as he'll be done once Toshiro breaks the barrier for the second time.
This will lead to some more cutscenes, and Shadow♉ Toshiro will turn into his final form, a giant, monstrous v💮ersion of Eri Natsuhara.
How To Beat Eri Natsuhara
The first thing you'll want to do when this fight starts is get all your units under cover. Eri will mainly attack with Malevolent Bullet, a ranged attack that is easy to avoid because it will be blocked by full cover.
Yusuke's copies from Like A Phantom will draw aggro from Malevolent Bullet.
Eventually, she will use her Cradle of Disaster move, which makes a large sphere and several enemies appear. As the game informs you, you'll take a lot of damage if that sphere goes off, so have Toshiro knock down one of the enemies that spawned, position your party for a Triangle Attack, and then return to cover once everything's said and done.
If you're ever in need of extra cover, Toshiro's Crystal of Liberation skill will create something you can hide behind.
The next move Eri will pull out is "Chains of the Sinner," which will take one or two of your party members, give them the "bound" condition, and then move them in range of a massive area attack.
To deal with this, you'll have to have one of your remaining allies shoot the chains off and then move everyone out of range.
At around the mid-point of the fight, Eri will use Growing Despair, which damages all your party members, summons enemies, and creates several small spheres that will do massive damage if left alone.
Destroy these with a Triangle Attack like you did for the Cradle of Disaster move, and doing so will take a massive chunk out of Eri's HP and knock her down.
From here, Eri will start combining her attacks, using Chain of the Sinner to move your units while summoning the Cradle of ꦿDisaster.
You can't use a Triangle Attack while one of your units is bound, so break those first.
Keep doing what you've been doing, taking out all the enemies and spheres swiftly with Triangle Attack, keeping your units under cover, and attacking Eri while you can, until she uses Growing Despair again.
Once you've done that, it will take out the rest of her HP, and the fight will end.
