Good news shippers - finally lets us see what would happen if Joker tied the knot with each of thওe Phantom Thieves... kind of.

Although all of us Persona fans can pretend that we're into the series for its layered RPG combat, iconic tunes, and deep storytelling, we all know the real reason is just to take any chance to chat with its loveable characters and play matchmaker for our protagonist. Persona 5 Tactica sadly doesn't include any romance options, but it does at least let you see what the final stage of Joker's relationship with the Phantom Thieves might look like in the future.

Just in case you need a reminder, romancing Futaba is and always will be🐼 the wrong choice. She's basically your sister, dude. Probably shouldn't let a minor date those adults, either...

At one point in Persona 5 Tactica, the Phantom Thieves will be tasked with defeating Marie and crashing her wedding. Before setting off for the mission, the player can chat with the gang at LeBla🅺nc. One of the options presented to the player is "The Ideal Marriage", which will cause everyone to chat about weddings, prompting Ryuji to ask Joker who he would marry out of the Phantom Thieves.

After Ryuji asks the question that every Persona 5 fan has been wondering for years, the player can then select which Phantom Thief they'd want Joker to be paired up with, which causes a sweet imaginary scene where he imagines what their wedding day would be like. Each of the gang has a pretty interesting reaction, too.

Ryuji, surprisingly, seems pretty excited about marrying Joker, claiming that "sparks have been flying" from the moment that they met, before asking him what toilet paper he prefers. Meanwhile, Ann struggles with her dress being too tight and🐷 not💫 being able to eat all of the wedding cake, while Yusuke (the best choice) creeps Joker out with his three tips on how to have a good marriage.

Makoto, who is likely the canon choice for Joker's romance let's face it, practically interrogates him at the altar about whether he's seeing anyone else, while Haru has the complete opposite reaction and is nothing but adorable. Then, if you somehow think Futaba is the right choice for Joker (she isn't), she'll promise to make Joker happier than he's ever been, before having the correct freaked-out reaction once the weird dream is over.

Joker imagining a wedding with Makoto in Persona 5 Tactica.

Although the various weddings might not be canon due to them taking place solely in Joker's imagination, it does at least let us see what a marriage between him and the rest of the team might look like, and is also the first time the series has recognised Ryuji and Yusuke as potential partners. Let's hope that energy carries over into Persona 6.
