With o💞nly three party members but a ton of latent perks, there's more to building a party in P🎃ersona 5 Tactica than meets the eye.
Unlike Marie, who was a fairly straightforward boss fight, Yoshiki's fight has you going through a gauntlet of enemies for the chance to get close and attack him and requires you to make good use of the terrain. It comes in three main phases, and will require you to conserve your SP and make sure you're well-positioned if you don't want to get set back.
Lord Yoshiki Phase One: Nowhere To Go But Up
Th🍌e game will direct your attention to a square elevator with a button in the center. Get all your units on it, and take it up to the upper level.
Yoshiki will use the move Emblem of Love, creating an area of bright yellow squares that will be attacked ﷽in a couple of ﷽turns, so avoid this area like the plague.
Emblem of Love will target Yusuke's copies from Like A Phantom, so you can make it appear at a distance fr🦄om you if you have that up.
Fight your way across the upper platform until you get to the next elevator. Go down and🤪 get on the center button right in front of Yoshiki. Stand on it and shoot him, and he will launch you backwards into Phase Two of the fight.
Lord Yoshiki Phase Two: Never Gonna Give Let You Down
Starting with this phase, the game introduces security cameras that you have to avoid. If you enter their line of sight, Yoshiki will launch you back into the nearest solid object, and reinforcements will appear.
Some enemies will use cameras as cover, so be careful when using melee attacks or Makoto's Full Throttle to make sure you don't move into the camera's line of sight accidentally.
Go to the right and that the elevator up. Move your entire party onto the second platform, but don't go down yet. End your t𒊎urn on the upper level to take ⭕advantage of the cover.
More reinforcements should show up at this point. Take them out as you make your way to the button on the left with the shield enemy on it. Leave one of your units at this button and have the other two go ahead.
At this point, Yoshiki will start using Love At First Sight. Characters affected by this will have a pink emblem on them, and should immediately get in front of a solid wall. Yoshiki will launch you backwards into the nearest♚ hard objec𒐪t otherwise, which can be a major setback.
Like in the last phase, fight your way across the upper path and have your two units arrive at the elevators on the back right. You'll have to use both the buttons at the front and the buttons in the back to ಌget y𒆙our units onto the ground level and make a path to Yoshiki.
Once again, take the last elevator up to Yoshiki and shoot🀅 him. The map will reset again.
Lord Yoshiki Phase Three: Started From The Bottom, Now We're Here
Go to the left to get around the security cameras. You might have noticed the security cameras are blocking the button to Yoshiki, but don't worry about that.
Simply go around the first left column, leave a unit in the center aisle, send the other two around up the top, and ✃leave them on the upper platform on the left.
At this point, a cutscene will play, and♑ Yuki will arrive with the townsfolk.
With their help, the security cameras will be disabled, making it possible to reach Yoshiki, but first, you have to get around the shield enemies.
Your units on the upper platform should be able to knock at least one down, allowing you to activate an All-Out Attack. Use that t🔥o heavily damage all the enemies, then finish them off.
Finally, you simply꧟ have to shoot Yoshiki again and trigger another All-ꦺOut Attack. This will end the fight.
